I actually was once asked out on a fake date once and the guy who was introduced to me was being introduced by my best friend so I thought that might be nice! first of all: the guy didn't know I was told that. second of all: the friend ended up being toxic. third of all: we were in 1st grade. 4th of all: after the toxicity of the best friend was revealed the guy tried to protect me and we ended up being best friends and that statement is still true today :D

We weren’t like besties even though they claimed we were, but we were cool. One day C came up to me and was like “Hey, A wants to ask you out” obviously acting cuz she was giggling while she said it. At the time, I didn’t know I was bi so I said “sorry but I’m straight.” In which C replied “oh ok then I’ll get D. D!! from second grade to sixth i had this horrible friend everyone made fun of him and i was there for him, 1 year later he starts acting like he doesn't need me and me, being a lonely kid with social anxiety was okay with this because this was my only friend and was scared to branch off we played roblox a lot instead of like texting or anything and then he started removing me from chats and started distancing himself from me in 6th grade i was over it and decided to move on because i didn't need him and had new friends (my goats) so then i branched off fully and now in 8th grade i started talking to him again when he said he changed (he didn't and is doing it all over again) oh yeah and im homeschooled now

I wasn't asked out personallly when this happened, but when I was in fifth grade, (yes, only 5th grade) this kid lied to my sister saying that he had a crush on me. My sister told me what he said, but he definitely didn't because he was an absolute jerk to everyone other than my friend Brooklynn, who he then later confessed to. He was an absolute jerk and I'm kind of surprised I let him hurt my feelings to begin with because when I look back, I'm surprised someone like that would be anyone's type. He was rude and even afterwards called me rude names and I'm pretty sure spread rumors about me. I am 16 now and I am free from that school, I am at a much better and healthier school where nobody bullies me like I'm some sort of object. Thank you for telling this story, it really inspired me and made me feel better because I am still healing from past traumas, including that one. :)

When I was younger I was also peer pressured into ‘having crushes’ and my ‘friends’ would keep asking me and every time I said no one they would start making crushes for me from my class. Like excuse me? I have never talked to that child in my life. I was obsessed with ldshadowlady and gravity falls and had 0 social life and it’s still the same now but I am happy and have friends who also like that kind of stuff :D
