Did they change how thick the tubes are on these? I have a Neptune that I got in like 2019 and it sounds much different than these newer ones

@@airplanefan-zv5ew They must have. I noticed the exact same thing as you have. I've compared older models with the one I have and noticed a big difference in the sound. Which is weird considering I've never noticed any recent changes with any other Woodstock chimes, aside from the crap sound file update they did on their website.

@@airplanefan-zv5ew I think they could lower the price on them a bit. Woodstock chimes are nice, but not as nice as Corithian bells or music of the speheres. Also, the way most Woodstock chimes are strung is awful! Instead of just putting holes through the top and then running the string through that, no! they got have the strings held by chessy tacks that come undone way too easily. My Encore Dragonfly chime, Craftsman chime, Seashore chime, Pachebell canon chime, and my Gregorian chime Alto have all fallen apart because at least one or two of the tacks holding the strings came undone, my Encore Dragonfly chime had every tack come off and now it's lost every tube it had, and I'm not even sure if I can have it fixed. . . I'd get more Corithian bells and and get myself some Music of the spheres if the price wasn't so terrible.

@@airplanefan-zv5ew All of my broken chimes were fixed except for My Encore Dragonfly chime and my Gregorian chime Alto. There in really bad shape and I'm hoping I can get them fixed so I don't have to throw them out. I've gotten rid of many Wind Chimes before, but never any Woodstock Chimes, it's mostly cheap chimes that I got rid of. I did once get rid of one of my Regal art chimes because it was falling apart. But aside from that, I never threw out any of my nice chimes and I hope I'll never have to. My Aloha chime is also in bad shape but not because of the string, but still, I worry that It might get worse and I'll have to throw it out.
