Hi amazing, where did you slept? Tent or some place? I think the second but do you think I'll find places to sleep if I'll prefer the no-tent option? is it well signposted? And are there any gpx tracks somewhere? Thanks a lot

Fantastic video of your trip you have here mate, well done! I'm travelling out to Crete at the end of April to attempt the E4. I just have a few questions if you wouldn't mind answering... Firstly, I have decided to bring a meth burning stove rather that a gas stove, how frequently do you come across meth on the trail? Secondly, do you have any helpful information you'd like to pass on? Cheers Tom

Great video!! how did you manage the water problem? and did you wildcamp? which sections of your hike have been the best? thank you :)
@TheSmekja8 жыл бұрын
kra2351 Hi, thank you for the comment. The water was quite a problem, because almost all streams or rivers were dry. I was carrying 5 liters, so I had enough for a day. You can get water in most villages on the square is a public water source, but a lot of times it was broken or dry as well. Most villages also have small shops with refrigerated drinks, definitely a life saver in the heat. There is many churches on the way and sometimes you can find water taps there. It is also possible to get water from irrigation tubes, you just have to disconnect two pieces and then reconnect them after you filled your water bottles. Animal waterers are also an option. I wildcamped most of the time, regurarly walking almost until dark and then looking for a suitable camp site. My most favourite parts were the White Mountains, Psiloritis, Lassithi Mountains and the wine region in the middle of island, in this order. Basically my most favourite parts were all the main mountain chains, not so hot as the lowlands and beautiful :) If you have more questions dont hesitate to contact me. When are you planning to visit Crete?

TheSmekja Thanks for your reply! Maybe I will be there in early October, but I don't know yet. Is there phone reception on the trail in the mountains?
@TheSmekja7 жыл бұрын
kra2351 There is a phone signal most of the time, but not in the high mountain parts. I would say about 75% is with signal.

Hello, Really enjoyed the video! Quick question, did you bring all of your gear, or is there a good place in Crete to buy gear?

Yea thats exactly what I have I have A LOT of defense and the golem makes up for the power i figure. Yea i agree that there a lot of of skills that take off conditions but thats why I constantly ice them to slow down recharge times and with the knock down, ice, and fearing stacking conditions back really isnt much of a problem for me.

I played S/D in past, but there is a lot of skills/traits, which remove conditions. So I want build power necro with little deffense(I dont say, that condition builds suck, thats not true, I only dont like conditional builds ). I want test more deffensive build now, with healing wells , a lot of tougness etc.

I just love seeing a thief get his ass handed to him lol. Nice build though. Tanky players are probably a bitch to take down though. I prefer the 0/30/30/10/0 with S/D set though, the toughness is pretty underrated from what I see in youtube videos.

I know, that I failed many times here, but Im not pro player, I only show you guys interesting builds. Sometimes you dominate game, but sometimes they kick your ass very hard :) I dont add here only videos, where I´m playing 100% well :)
@TheSmekja12 жыл бұрын
Yeah, damage is really nice, but build that I post before work probably better, you can kill glasscannon build very quickly, but if you meet deff opponent or more than 1 opponent you will die :) Or you can mixed my 2 builds and create one, which has decent deff stats and average damage :)

I added a link into video description. I mostly play staff and A/D(sometimes like in the video going D/D = power build necro, because you can use 3. spell - 4 sec of Immobilized and then use wells and sacrefice minions for AOE blind + 2500 damage for each) If you want to play condition necro - scepter and dagger is mostly used combination.
