I am a black woman and I thank you for speaking up as a STRONG BLACK man. You are so true in what you're saying. I love your platform! I've shared this with every black man I'm in contact with.

You are more than welcome my sister. Thank you so much for those kind words. No matter what we have to stay strong together as a unit and not fall to anyone’s negative criticism, shaming tactics to try and get over on us to cause division. Those times are up and over with.

@@mr.knowitallreactions2710 I wish more black men would realize this. They have been destroying the black family for decades by attacking the black man. It's so sad that more people can't seem to understand this. GOD, man, woman, child. That's the only way we'll keep our families strong. Our black men are trying, they just need support. Not someone always tearing them down. I follow you on all your platforms, keep doing what you're doing. Much love to you brother ♥️

Cool fall night in 1983. Had my dad’s Chevy van and this jam on 8-track. Chilling in Weequahic park with an Ebony cutie named Toya. I owe Blue Magic a debt of gratitude😉

Thank you, Mr. KNOWITALL REACTIONS for the 🤩. I'm happy that people are discovering the music I wrote and sang with the Montclairs while I was still a teenager back in East Boogie ESL. I did two albums with the group, and then two more duo albums with Kevin Sanlin (PERRY AND SANLIN) after we left the group and moved to CA. I have stayed in the music biz, and with the urging of my wife (who began her career with Donny Hathaway, around the same time - 1969) I have been a solo artist since 1991 with over a dozen solo albums. I have stayed true to the game and I think you'll enjoy what I've done for a total of 55 years in the business. I was inducted into the RNB HALL OF FAME in 2019 in Detroit, which was a true honor. Whenever you have time, check out the 3 songs I wrote for Aretha (with Charles Jackson of the Independents), and which are featured on her comeback album on ARISTA - titled 'ARETHA', (her hit 'United Together' & two others), as well as songs I wrote for Noel Pointer on his albums. More and more of the younger generations are beginning to hear classic soul because of your platform, and I just want to take time to thank you, my Brother. Hoping to meet you someday. GOD Bless you! Still Phil...upstream!
