I tried this fix and it didn't work: my controller still only recognizes 3 of 12 stations. I also tried a full reset and that didn't work either. So, Hunter, do I need to buy a full new controller?

When looking at the wire specs at 33:20 is that saying the max distance for only 1 decoder on the wire path can reach 908' with 18 gauge wire or is that saying regardless of how many decoders you have on that wire path you can reach 908' with 18 gauge wire? Is there wiring distance drop after each decoder is installed? If there a distance drop after each decoder installed, can you please provide additional wire spec documents / information?
@Hunter_Landscape_Irrigation16 күн бұрын
Correct, the maximum wire run for one decoder is 908' on #18 wire. Activate a second decoder at the same time and the wire run shortens to half the original spec, 454'. But just installing decoders doesn't impact the allowed wire length.

With the i40s, how would one select between the regular i40 and the i40 dual opposing nozzle? Why would one choose one over the other?
@Hunter_Landscape_IrrigationАй бұрын
I-40 opposing nozzles are only 360 deg heads, standard I-40s can have adjustable arcs. There's also a difference in precip rate too.

Hi , thanks for the vid, we had power failure and lost time due to system off, I then had to set the time again. After that I experienced a problem to select the different start times for all stations. The controller only allow station 1A, pressing the right arrow it would not advance to the other station or refuse to switch to another program. What can be the problem? Thank you

Feel free to disconnect the two sensor leads but be sure to replace the original jumper or make one of your own.

What is the yellow indicators stays in the up position after water is turned off?
@Hunter_Landscape_IrrigationАй бұрын
The yellow riser or indicator pops up when there's pressure in the drip line. If it's still in the upright position after the water is off, there may be debris or grit trapped in there.

My App doesn't even have "programs" at the bottom, only "zones". Inside of "Zones" there is a "Programs" but this video more lines up with what is in "Preconfigured schedules" but that area doesn't have a "start times" button. When I set my interval to "3 times per day" where in the heck do I set up the times during the day to run? So confusing.

What are the pros and cons of installing the threaded 90 or T horizontally vs vertically in the hole on the pvc run? Is one easier to service in the future? Is one easier/better on a new install vs retrofit? How does this build your own (two barbed 90s and a length of flex pipe) flex pipe system compare to build your own with two (or three) street 90s and a length of riser? It would be best to do a short video on these choice / best practice decisions.
@Hunter_Landscape_Irrigation2 ай бұрын
It comes down to personal and regional preferences. It's always good to think about the person after you, the one servicing the system.

The controller has option for 6 zones. How can I program each zone to turn on at different times
@Hunter_Landscape_Irrigation2 ай бұрын
The run time dial position allows you to set a duration for each zone (or station). The program button and start time dial position allows you to set different start time for each program. A program is a group of stations that share the same schedule.

The run time dial position allows you to set a run time, or duration, for each individual zone. Press program, then start time to set a program start time. A program is a group of stations (or zones) that share the same schedule.

The lines on the left side reflect the seasonal adjustment percent. You can increase or decrease the run times based on local weather, while controllers connect to a Solar Sync sensor will adjust automatically.

I took apart mine, cleaned every part (had nothing to clean though), played with the exhaust valve and tried to manually turn it, but mine won't work. If the main flow is on, it won't open. If I open it and then close the main flow, the valve will open. I can then open the main flow and water will flow. Turning it off also works.

This was so helpful for setup and programming. In the video, the green toggle switch is set to “sensor bypass” for the entire video. Is that the correct setting for the wireless sensor to operate?
@Hunter_Landscape_Irrigation2 ай бұрын
The sensor bypass switch position allows the controller to temporarily ignore the sensor input. For example, if you need to test your irrigation after the Rain-Clik senor was triggered.
