It's a lot of fun, instead of just thinking about single weapons, you have to think of all possible combinations of weapons to get kills. For me it's been like learning a whole new game

Much like quake strafing roping wasn't intended to be that mechanic. But it turns out to be so good now pro wormers all using rope like crazy.

There are regularly tournaments, league, and cups at tus-wa.com, and kaosleague.com. At Kaos league, me and Dream stream a lot of matches and there's some analysis, though maybe not as much as in this vid

Hey dude, great to hear from people from the golden era, those were good times for roping. I played WWP from 2000-2002 and came over to WA after that. People now play more normal schemes than roping ones, but there are rope race challenges and league activity at tus-wa.com. There's also normalnonoobs.com and kaosleague.com for intermediate and Kaos, which are hella fun.

Which cheat do you use to aim the shotgun so precisely?

The game has discrete angles you can aim at. Aim straight up, then begin aiming down: the worm's shotgun sprite only changes at the 5th angle, then once every 4 angles. So counting these sprite changes can help get you to the exact angle you need

I've completed all missions with golden medals but your skills are just INSANE! I can only imagine how thoroughly you did spend large amounts of time to strategize every mission to perfection. :) The Chateau was probably my favourite with that long flight. Congrats! This will always be the best Worms game IMHO and one of the best strategy games ever made.

Hi, big fan of your WA speedruns and roping tutorials. I saw that there is a speedrun category for getting 100 crates in the crazy crates tutorial mission as fast as possible. Would be really cool to see you give it a try and show how fast a competent roper can do it. 🙂

You could finish the mission with the supersheep in one second. You drop the sheep explode it and get killed with the opponent and you win the mission
