I'm an atheist, who attacks no one. There are Muslim extremists and the same goes for Christianity. If you type that into your search engine, you'll get a plethora of sources. I've been this way since I was a little girl and have been treated horribly by so many religious people, despite being a kind, respectful person. I've never belittled anyone. Thank goodness my Christian family never told me I'm wrong and loves me for me. I won't be surprised if someone here tells me I'm wrong, preaches at me and possibly attacks me here.

Thank you Suzanne. Very well taught. I really benefit from the visual aids that you use. As an aside. I am reading in Exodus chapter 27 and I am trying to enjoy the details of the bronze altar, trying to envision how it looks and there is a picture of it in your lesson today. God is good.

Thank you, Suzanne. I appreciate the work you have done to teach in 1Corinthians. I must go back now and pick up where I left off with the study. I also appreciate the discussion on Patricia Shrier. It is concerning knowing I have a mature daughter who could be influenced by her teaching as I was in the past. God bless you in your ministry.

How exactly is saying that the rapture could happen at any time a failure if it hasn’t happened? It could be “at any time”. Not necessarily today or tomorrow, at any time. It may be today, it may not. Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.” 2 Peter 3:3-4 Seems to me you are the exact person Peter described 2000 years ago. That’s not failure, that is TRUTH.

@@kurtobermeyer3356 It's been 2000+ years, and every single yaer of that, christians have said "any time, any time", meaning it would be soon. You've failed miserably, Kurt. I know better than your attempt to try to lie and claim that christians aren't really saying it will be soon. Yep, I'm mocking your cult, and cults get mocked, so that is no kind of prophecy at all. Curious how you were mocked 2000+ years ago too, and those ignorant christains also claimed it was a "sign" their god was coming soon. It wasn't. So sad that you don't read your bible, the rapture can not be at any moment there are prophetic events that must take place before that happened. Jus go read Matthew 24 and quick teaching false teachings, you will be responsible for many people abandoning Christ when persecution comes.
@kurtobermeyer3356

You must not have listened to the sermon, which is sad, since the question of Matthew 24 was specifically addressed. Matthew 24 speaks of the Second Coming of Christ to establish His kingdom, not the rapture. It is truly sad that Christians will be caught unaware when Jesus comes in the air for His church and lose out on reward (2 Tim 4:7-8). Rapture = Deliverance/Resurrection of Believers; Second Coming = Judgment/Death of unbelievers. Two different events.

As an agnostic atheist, I would never attack someone purely for their religion, unless that religion was actively hurting people, which Christianity is not. My grandparents are all Christian, and many of my friends are heavy into Christianity. Sadly with social media, and in fact any news source, only the loudest and most extreme are brought out. Atheists shouldn’t berate the religious, just as Theists shouldn’t berate atheists and other religions.

No social welfare isn't the gospel, but being a disciple means being concerned about social welfare. There were poor laws enacted through the state throughout Christian history, where people taxed the rich to give to the poor. This idea that you can't help the poor through welfare is something that was created by corporate sponsored think tanks (like the American Liberty League) and their hireling pastors that spread the idealogy around the time of the New Deal. It comes from Dupont not the bible and people are basically brainwashed to believe it's how things just are.
