Yes, it is a weed. But like many other weeds, this one can be used to make hair oil.

How often do you water after planting the seeds. Thanks
@SeedtoLife4 күн бұрын
The seed starting mix should be consistently moist (not overly wet). It depends on the weather in your region how fast it dries out. After watering just make sure to drain out the excess water. A tip: you can place some newspaper under the pot to drain out the excess moisture.

नहीं, यह टी बर्फीला मौसम नहीं सहन कर सकता. आप ज्यादा ठण्ड होने पे गमले को घर पर रख सकते है खिड़की के पास. जमीन में मर जायेगा.

I am on a mission !! I would like to know where the patchouli plant is distilled, (l live in Australia) the only perfume we are sold is the patchouli essence, but l am after the black resinous stage of its distillation before it is overly refined. Would you have any idea who l could contact about its overall processing or where l could source its purest form ?? Please reply as ld love to have the REAL THING before l die. I plan on having my coffin lining drenched in my favourite perfume.

Hi, I'm sorry but I don't know that. Patchouli smell is amazing but I'm not familiar with perfume making. I would like to know though. Let me know if you find anything about it. Thanks for watching!

How long is its crop cycle ? How long it takes to fully develop
@SeedtoLife29 күн бұрын
It depends on the variety but ranges from 4-6 months. Leaves can be harvested earlier than that. Other varieties mature at different times. Roots (4-6 months), chicons take longer.

Thanks for sharing. Would this plant be considered an annual or perrenial?
@SeedtoLife2 ай бұрын
It is a perennial in tropical regions but doesn't tolerate cold. The ideal temperature range for growing ashwagandha is between 68°F and 95°F (20°C to 35°C).

Beautiful plant, how do you use the leaves?
@SeedtoLife2 ай бұрын
Gongura leaves are cooked like other leafy green vegetables, used to make pickles and chutneys. I'll try to upload one uncommon traditional recipe of my grandmother. She used to make steamed dumplings of these leaves with crushed rice, lentils, and peanuts.

how to protect in winter?? garage or indoor ?
@SeedtoLife4 ай бұрын
You can keep them in the garage. We get frequent weeklong freezing periods during winter and they stay green in the garage. I'm guessing that like turmeric, it might even survive in the ground also. It will go dormant and come back in spring.

@SeedtoLife4 ай бұрын
For beans, I hardly use any fertilizers. During the initial 4-6 weeks, I use some nitrogen fertilizer (fish/ cow manure) for the plants to get mature faster but after that I don't use anything.

Can I plant it in Saudi Arabia ,does it handle the heat?
@SeedtoLife4 ай бұрын
It is a cool season crop. You can try growing during winter months. In summers, the plants will bolt quickly and produce seeds. Once bolted, the leaves do not taste that great and are small. Also, plants put the entire energy in producing seeds and harvest is small.

What can I use to get ride of cyst and fatty liver and stones in plants
@SeedtoLife4 ай бұрын
I can't offer you any specific advice but apart from the recommended medical/ surgical treatment, regular exercise and a well-balanced diet including foods that are not tough on your liver are good. You can try to include a variety of fresh herbs in your diet to get antioxidants and micronutrients. I hope you feel better soon.
