Useful thanks, this happened to me (along with loads of other faults with this crappy make). A new wiring harness is only £10 though so I bought one and was hoping to find a video of how to replace the harness

Sorry I couldn't help with a video of replacing the new wiring. But I'm glad I could help with something thanks for watching 👀
@DJColinCook10 ай бұрын
@@mavrickautomotive thanks for the reply. The new harness arrived today. Its literally a 5 minute job to replace. There are 2 access panels which just pop off. 1 on the top of the door and the other on top of the fridge. The harness has a clip either end so the old one just unclips and the new one pops in. 1 screw to loosen to slip the earth tab under then clip the panels back on. Unbelievably easy and the replacement harness was £10 from ebay. Honestly, not even worth trying to repair for that cost. Thanks again for the video, really pointed me in the right direction

I run a set of first generation Firestone Destination M/T 215 85/16s on my modified Suzuki XL7. Fantastic tire. They are a bit chewed up and worn and I might get 45,000 kms out of them before the mud traction will pretty much be done. I definitely would retire them at or before the stage that yours are at. But the price of the Firestone new generation M/T2s plus inflation have almost doubled the original $180 price (2018). These Comforsers are reeeally attractive for the price at $168 Canadian. I do a fair amount of off-pavement alone in British Columbia. I very seldom travel more than 100 kms/hour on the road and usually take logging road alternatives just because I hate highway driving a lifted Suzuki with no sway bars and growly tires. (And yup. Retired with too much time on my hands). I don't go looking for 4x4 trouble but I do my fair share of winching trying to get into/out of areas for fishing or prospecting. An aggressive tread for spring break up and especially a 10 ply even on lightweight Suzi is important as having to walk out is not an attractive option. With the price of everything getting stupid, I'm tempted to get a set of these at about half the price of most brand name M/T tires. Thanks for the video. I think it's pushed me over the edge to order them.
@mavrickautomotive10 ай бұрын
Sorry for the late reply. I think thay would be a good tire for a light weight 4x4 with the sort of driving you do. If you get them you will have to let me know how they go. Thanks for watching 👀

Further to my post below. Now the fridge cable has gone again. Fridge cable is now being replaced for the 3rd time. I'm seriously thinking of getting a cable made from the ends I already have rather than buying another one that is only going to last a few months. I will NEVER buy another Hisense fridge or freezer.

Hi mate iv got myself an RB 30 GQ getting bad fuel economy and the old car is running like crap. Thinking of putting a 350 Holly all bigger on but been told if I go for wheel driving specially uphills I’d run out of fuel pressure. Are you able to help with this?
@mavrickautomotive11 ай бұрын
Yes you will need more fuel pressure it will need to run between 5 and 7 psi. I put a fuel pressure gauge on mine and found out I was only getting 2 psi from my standard rb30 in tank fuel pump. It runs perfectly on road but it does suffer off road. I did buy a external pump but have not fitted it as I am going efi.
