Hey there, this is Mark, I'm a licenced Egyptologist guide in Egypt and I work at the GEM. I hope you had a great time with Hoda in the lands of the gods; just a minor correction, wrritings on temple/ tombs walls was far more imp than just decoration, it spans from whats going to happen in the hereafter to survival spells to get them through to the hereafter, besides invocations to the deities of course. Plus, when the bird or the pictures are facing right...we read from right to left not the other way around. The same goes if they're facing left; we read from left to right. Cheers.

I used to fly in very small planes to Nantucket. Yes you were weighed and yes, they chose your seat by how much you weighed. But they did let me step on the scale backwards, so I didn’t have to see how much I weighed.

Great video Sarah. I suggest when not wearing your 100% merino items I store them in my packing cubes or a plastic bag as the moths will get to them if not stored properly In Australia we have used merino items for years and i have learnt from experience

I see some stupidity in the comments from conspiracy theorists and people who probably enjoy telling other cultures about themselves.
@MrQuadrick24 күн бұрын
They don’t know what it says she just speaking the obvious. It’s really all opinions
@Dagothspulloutgame24 күн бұрын
@MrQuadrick that first statement is a contradiction. How can she state the obvious about something you claim she doesn't actually know? And the comments aren't opinions. Just morons who think they know everything and think everything is a conspiracy. And I'll trust people who actually grew up in their own culture to speak about their culture, more than some random people in a KZbin comment section

We had the best hot chocolate of our lives at a tea shop in Bruges. They gave us a pitcher of melted chocolate, a pitcher of hot milk, and a tiny bowl of whipped cream. It was sensational! We had ducked in to escape a sudden downpour, and we were VERY happy.

Are your tour groups small or big? If I am solo traveller, would prefer small group so I get integrated easily.
@SarahMurdochadventures29 күн бұрын
Most tours have a maximum of 16-18 people. A few have a maximum of 12! They also don't always sell out, so sometimes they run with just 5 or 6 guests. It is common for our tours to have solo travelers as well as couples or travel partners.

This is amazing! Please show us! Slowly but steady. Waiting for your own chanel. You are so classically Egyptian with your features. We need a real person from Egypt to teach us. And yes I understand you speak British English. Even give students or persons who are wanting it, give them tours. Show them how to read them. I would pay 500 dollars just to take a short tour with you and you can show me 100 words or sentences or names, and I would feel complete. You read hieroglyphs and not many people in the world read those. Capitalize on your intelligence ma'am. Start a tour and video tape it or start just a video where we can click on it and you get a certain amount of money each time we do, and you just show us how to read one word at a time in Egyptian you've got it inside of you you were just asked to rush and I think this feels very rushed and I would love to listen to you very slowly and let you show me what you're talking about
@mindymorgan8479Ай бұрын
Look at her! A beautiful expert. Please Give us more! And the minute is pressure. Get your own chanel and teach us in your own way and in a slow pace. The Speedy Delivery system really does nothing and it's kind of annoying just being honest. But I can tell she has a very soothing voice if it's at a slow pace and she teaches something daily. I'll be watching for your own channel and you can teach us how to read hieroglyphs for money

My partner and I both have sensitive skin/topical allergies, and we have found the free & clear Target laundry sheets (their EverSpring brand) work well when traveling (with the Scrubba laundry bag and a clothesline). They're TINY but extremely concentrated and I will use maybe up to a square inch for a pair of dirty pants or several t-shirts. I halve the sheets along the perforation and take them in a snack-sized Ziploc bag to keep them dry.

Hello Sarah! Thank you!!! I like my Kitsch “bottles”, Sonicare usb toothbrush, and earth breeze laundry sheets. For the battery banks, you mentioned that the one in your hand “weighs a ton”. I waffle between carrying heavy items and leaving them at home. How do you advise we select this type of tech? For mghz / number of phone charges? I need to mindfully select by weight due to back pain. I’ve been an Icebreaker fan for a decade+. Do you recommend wool for under layers and/or outter layers, for April in France & Portugal? (Yes I’ve watched & love your Spring in Italy shoulder season packing video.). Thanks!
@SarahMurdochadventuresАй бұрын
I think that the smaller Anker power bank is fine for most. I bring the bigger one for more remote locations. Icebreaker items are good for under clothing but I like their pants and sweaters as well.

Holiday sales are a great time to pick up a sequin-sparkly top. I get chilly on cruises so I would add a light weight sweater or light weight jeans jacket to wear in the dining rooms or shows. I would probably take my white jean jacket for a Caribbean cruise.
