This is very inspiring as it makes me think how one could pimp up a rather cheap or midrange synth, or use out of fashion simple eurorack modules, and make it better by rebuilding and using larger buttons, maybe replace a few components etc. This is a particularly beautiful synth, but the aesthetics could be taken from all kinds of fields, like hospitals equipment, cooking appliances, war machines, construction sites, ...

..but why all those gauges monitoring psu outputs? What purpose can that myopic and distorted scope possibly provide?

There are several elements to consider when building a synthesiser. Firstly the sound, secondly the ergonomics (where the buttons go in what order) and thirdly the overall appearance. The latter is very important to me because when I build an instrument I want it to look good and suit my tastes, I love to see vu-meters, volt-meters and other meters so I decided to add some and I like it a lot, no need to look for another reason. As for the oscilloscope, a musical instrument appeals to several senses, hearing, sight and touch, and all these senses are important.

I hope to realease the first batch around october 2024. The price has not yet been set, but it will no doubt be in the mid-range for a good filter.
