This is depressing. The listings barely worked, so it wasn't useful as a guide. The promos can barely be heard, to add to that. The music is distorted so it's not good as a background channel. It literally has NO purpose.

That's the funniest interview I've ever watched on Johnny Carson and one of the funniest of all talk shows altogether. "Oh! Here I am , doing what comes naturally and talking to the president" - Florence Hodges. I laughed so hard I cried when she said that.🤣

I love how Johnny goes and takes her hand and walks her up... He did that with all the old ladies he had on his show... A real gentleman.

"Doing what comes nature." President Carter would have laughed if he knew. He is a kind, Southern gentleman.

Call me a square, but I wish television could have stayed as clean as it was back then. I have heard that our brain is like a computer, if you put garbage in it, you will get garbage out of it. Such a pleasure watching these Johnny Carson's Tonight Shows. I think Okiedude5 said it the best! Ordinary citizens Johnny had on the show we're far more heartfelt and enjoyable than any celebrity.

I don’t get why only the music sounded distorted and all the ads sounded fine if all of the audio came from the satellite feed. Or was the music on a separate audio track than the ads? And only the audio track with the music was screwy? If that were the case, why does the Amiga get the cues to switch the audio channel but no other data? I have too many questions after watching this video twice, lol.

I saw that this cable company replaced Prevue Guide eventually because of the incessant technical difficulties. Was there some other channel guide in its place?
@ABCEasyas--2 жыл бұрын
100th comment! Did the cable company even bother installing new hardware and relaunching Prevue Channel or did they have some other channel guide thing like TV Guide on Screen?
