Waxoil is far superior to the lanogaurd which washes off, waxoil also heals any stonechips, I've tried numerous products and waxoil definitely wins hands down.

Indeed one can soak/clean the vehicle radiator with soda and vinegar, separately, or in sequence .. but not jointly. The bubbling you see seems to be 'effective' but is mainly the soda and vinegar reacting with each other (extreme alkaline with extreme acid), not with the grime in the radiator. So .. one overnight with a solution of soda (2 tablespoons per liter of water) and thereafter one overnight with vinegar (50% diluted with water). Then a gardenhose flush. Then for those with money a nice flush with an all-in-1 commercial radiatorflush. Then the radiator fluid back in.

Hello! I'm an old Willy's jeep guy as well as Land Rovers. Lift up windscreens are fantastic in the hot weather! I never knew that LR did them for the military. Those latch handles really are a good idea. You don't really see it when it's all the way up. And you don't see it at all if you you've just pushed the windscreen out a bit at the bottom for more ventilation. Are you producing the glass frames or was that just a short run for you and some friends? I like that you just put the measuring tape up on the windscreen and filmed the dimensions. Much easier to document! Well done!!

s casNot a useful test as it needs to be evaluated 6 months down the line! When it's first sprayed on anything will look good. It's the durability that is critical, and nine of these types of products are cheap. Bring this car back in 6 months and let's see how it has fared.

Vinegar (acetic acid) and Sodium bicarbonate mixed together = CO2, sodium acetate (a salt) and water. Basically you're neutralizing the acid and creating salt deposits inside the system. Negative effect. I recommend deleting this video and making a new one doing it the correct way. Vinegar soak for a few hours after having run the engine up to temp (remove thermostat for best flow) , drain and refill with water + Sodium bicarb to neutralize the acid. Water flush again then Fill with coolant mix.

Hello. I have a truck and it takes 34 Litres. I want to clean the cooling cycle with vingar. what is the mixing ratio of vinegar? what is the mixing ratio of sodium bicarbonate to clean the cooling cycle from vingar
@AlienMonkeyDXB5 ай бұрын
@@Mohammed-masood450 Hi. As vinegar @ 5% is not very strong, you can go pretty high in the ratio. I've used straight vinegar in individual components removed from the vehicle and the cleaning effect wasn't crazy fast. I was able to guarantee a full flush though, for a whole system in the truck perhaps 75/25 ratio would be good. If aluminum block it won't seem like it's done much, iron block will see a lot of rust coming out. A couple of hours should have a good cleaning effect, repeat of it still looks dirty inside. Do keep in mind it does eat at the aluminium as it's acidic, so if you have very old components that have already corroded/worn thin you may end up with new leaks. Sometimes the corrosion deposits are actually blocking a hole or crack which end up leaking after the crud is gone. If a part is too far gone it may need repairing or replacing. Approx 1 teaspoon of sodium bicarb per 250ml should do the trick to neutralize. Mix it with the flushing water when filling up after a few rinses (how many depends on how dirty the system is). It will bubble/fizz so leave the system uncapped. Leave it a while, after bubbling stops empty and flush out with plain water. Then fill with coolant mix. Hope this helps :-)

For anyone who sees this the washing soda neutralizes the vinegar. The vinegar will have its full cleaning power on its own. You only want to use the soda after you've let the vinegar work to neutalize the acid to make sure it doesn't continue to have an acidic environment in your rad and eat the metals.

Spraying engine oil on looks exactly the same as Lanogaurd⚠️ What matters is 1 or 2 years later. See our previous comments 😊
@julesviolin11 ай бұрын
⚠️1 year down the line is what matters. What is looks like when spraying on is totally irrelevant ! I've tried them all. Underseal peels off and is heavy. Granville Spray chain grease is the cheapest and long lasting. Just top up the rusty edges every year. £6 per can. 3 cans required initially then just 1 can per year at MOT to top up.

Why didn't you practice and rehears before you made this video, bro...you couldn't even undo your holding bolts. Yes, it's a "safari" windscreen, but was mainly used on the Land Rover Forward Control military vehicles... You could get both options, either the whole inner frame tilting up, or one at a time for the gunner, depending left or righthand drive.. They were hardly used on civilian Landies. If you wanted to tilt your total windscreen onto the bonnet of that Landy, you would have needed some rubber padded brackets or a spare wheel fitted in order not to damage your paintwork or hood. 🇿🇦
