I saw Chaka Khan probably 25 years ago in the San Francisco Bay area where I lived. I am immediately realized this was the absolute favorite song of mine for the rest of my life. This woman put on such a show and literally had every man in the audience on his knees in the aisle, praising her! It was absolutely amazing because they literally were begging to be with her because not only the song got to them, but the way she sang it with movements that were literally seducing them. And I’m sure every woman that was at that concert went home and bought that album. I still have mine and I still sing that song every chance I get.
