I saw BB close the JVC Jazz Festival years ago...following Ritenour, DiMeola and Coryell. It was a great show...which BB absolutely stole.

He was a great singer and stage performer and it was his limitations that gave him his signature sound.

Interesting. "I don't play no chords.". He said basically the same thing in the Rattle and Hum film. B. B. King didn't need chords.

Can you do the entire live version of blues power by Albert King? I saw that you already have 2 minutes of it in another video.

This guy is the G.O.A.T. In terms of simplifying guitar down to a relatively limited set of tools and options (that suited his particular gifts), then mastering those to the point of achieving literal magic with them.

"I'm not good with my right hand " says the quintessential blues player who influenced many greats. What a humble man.

The Master! So glad I got to see him before he passed away. He walked slow, but played like he was 30. Then met with kids after the show at the front of the stage. What a great man we had the privilege of listening to. Thank you Mr King!

Really depressing that more don't know of this great guitarist who, in the early days, was a Paco de Lucia technician in the blues. Proof: check out Eddie Lang & Lonnie Johnson duets.
