"I only got these yesterday" is the lyric that stikes me best. Frustrated with him and her life. (Just like the rest of the song). A realisation that you really should move on. Whoever you are, l hope you do. Life is too short. Definitely still fresh and forever relevant.

As a 63 year old I have to say Kate Nash is my favourite artist over the last 20 years. I can't believe she is not a megastar. Maybe she just didn't want it.

Probably the best version I have ever heard! Even better than the album. The version she performed with Billy Bragg on the 2007 NME broadcast is a close second but it's not the whole song, it's interspersed with parts of his song "A New England" I don't know BBC standards but I am kind of disappointed they cut "shit" from the lyrics.

Back when Later with Jools had an atmosphere. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve never liked the new one. The space is too cavernous and it’s lost the intimacy it had before, even if the music is still great.

You just can't beat pure talent. Never heard the full version before, just knew it from the Foundations/A New England duet with Billy Bragg which is also excellent.

It's crazy - this was such a breakthrough song, done so well live, and she's well fit and talented and everything, and I can't keep my eyes off the drummer - very impressive.
Music should be fun all the time ❤ la la la❤❤❤😀🎵 3:39 Kate Nash fine ❤❤

WOW, First, lovely just hearing "The Bare Bone's" of the instrament's. {I love it when Artist's, pick up a Guitar & just sing.) Think she has a great "London"(?) accent, emphasising the crudeness & directness of her speech. {Bit Lily Allen ?} First time hearing her {Being OLD mis-read her name, thinking it was Kate Bush ! LOL} Nice find.... Not impressed with much NEW. I'm a 74 year old Dinasore, {who can't spell.} LOL Ahhh, well "Even Troll's Love Rock n Roll" (Who'll go down that rabbit hole?)

It looks like Italian Policemen, if this video is representative, make rather exaggerated gestures in order to make their directions very very clear.
