When I listened I noticed she “held back water” so really only 290 water and 46 0 flour = really 300 water and 500 flour; she scored deeply before putting into hot Dutch oven baked 450 for 20 m then 25 no cover

Yes we are both Croatian. I was born in Vojvodina and came to Canada during the war and my husband was born in Canada.

If you want less mess with your grain, I put the bowl on top of another bowl to get it closer to the mill. This also aids when you double mill since the KA mill is really a budget level mill.
@domesticdivacooking925326 күн бұрын
Thank you for your suggestion. As I stated in my video it’s a great starter mill if you don’t want to spend five times the amount. thanks for watching.

I have this and don’t love it - I’ve had to buy separate smaller containers for milk etc. Also, like ALL door storage if you yank too hard when opening, these things hard it can go flying. Thanks for the video.
@domesticdivacooking925326 күн бұрын
Thank you for your feedback. I do have a bit of an issue with not being able to move shelves up and down but I do love the door storage as it’s so much better quality than my Samsung one had where they all broke and replacements cost more that the fridge was worth. I also like how easy they are to clean. Thanks for watching

KitchenAid recommends removing the oil off the grinder prior to use. "Wash off the oil with a mild detergent solution and dry thoroughly. If you do not remove the oil, the burrs will become clogged and the grinding action will slow down". I'm struggling to dissemble mine... The screws are REALLY STUCK.

I was told that the stainless has a coating on it to make it not show fingerprints. And that’s why I should only clean it with a soft cloth and mild diluted detergent.
@domesticdivacooking92534 ай бұрын
I do think the fingerprints don’t show up as much comparing to my other fridge. But I now only use Norwex cloth and that seems ok. When you use mild soap does it show the streaks?

@domesticdivacooking92534 ай бұрын
It’s still working. We had a bit of an issue with ice maker but while waiting for a repair guy it worked it’s self out. Lol. The key is not to leave the fridge open for too long something my family struggles with. That way Ice doesn’t start melting.

Hello Sonja I just finished watching your latest video on Christmas dupes and I really enjoyed it. I didnt know you had a cooking channel and I subscribed because I love borh cooking and baking. I was married to a Puerto Rican man for over 32 years and do alot of cooking from Puerto Rico. I'm Italian and have recipes handed down from my Nona who spoke little English but showed my Mom most of her cooking. My Mom is now 92 still active and always cooking too. Who knows maybe we could exchange some recipes. Ill be back to watch more of your cooking videos. I think your bar cookie sounds great and want to add it to my Christmas cookie repotoire . Would you believe I baked 300 cookies last year. Was to give away being I live alone and certsinly wasn't planning on eating them myself LOL. ❤❤❤

So glad you decided to join me here as well. I am Croatian which is right next door to Italy and I would love to swap up some recipes. Wow 300 cookies that is hard work. One time I made 400 donuts in one day. They went to all my husbands customers thankfully lol. But that was hard work. Thanks so much for watching
