i have a problem, with the newest driver it need the gidital piano to be conected, and my midi-usb seem to doesnt be valid to that. Is it my fault or i need another midi-usb? pd: im windows user

@vaskomedia Im not super techyyy with the instruments, but I have a Yamaha P-71. Does turning my keyboard into a midi mean. that I will be able to translate sounds from my midi software into my keyboard? I have an Arturia Midi Lab that came with Ableton + Arturia Midi Software. Can I download that software to my Mac, connect it to my Yamaha, and produce more sounds on my Yamaha? My question might be silly, but I don't understand this stuff 😂. Thanks!

i used aux cable to connect the Yamaha 463 to the computer as a sound card since i dont have one but the keyboard sound coming from the fl studio is seizing like some it doesn't sound out the same time from the keyboard voice pls sir what's the remedy to this.🙏

Everything makes sense except for why you state and show that the Midi OUT cable must be plugged into the Midi IN port and why the Midi IN cable must be plugged into the Midi OUT port. Why reverse them? Thx.

Hi sorry for my confusion. I have a Yamaha YDP 181. Can I actually use this method to record the actual piano sound of the YDP 181, or do I have to use a virtual instrument as the sound in my DAW since it is only sending midi information?

Hi, I have Yamaha PSR i500 and trying to connect Mainstage 3. Problem is, after connecting the cable i am not getting output in yamaha keyboard.. but i can see data flowing in the mainstage app. I can see the chords name which i am playing but no audio is coming out. I can hear only default instrument sound of the keyboard. Please help

It looks like the driver step here is only required if you are using a Yamaha cable/UIX. Other cables likely come with their own drivers which should interface with your software. Cheers!

maybe to old to get help here but... i connect my midi in to my midi out and midi out to in yet when i try to load the driver it gives and error 5600 and unable to complete is there a setting on the piano i need to activate ?

Hi Vasko! Thank you for the tutorial. However I encountered an issue, somehow LogicPro only recognize one key at a time, when I tried to press C key and then move to D quickly the D key is not recognize by LogicPro. Same thing when I tried to press 3 key at the same time it always recognize one key only. Do you know how to fix this? Thank you in advance! My Piano is Yamaha YDP-S31.

You lost me at launch the recording software or digital audio work station of choice…why does one need this software? What does it do? I want to be able to play sounds or patches that did not come with my p105. I want to play high energy gospel praise music and my piano does not sound exciting enough so I want to download some layered patches or whatever you call them. I do not understand this process.
