That's what frustrates me so much about Resolve, is that it is an amazing video editing tool literally until you hit Export. A good program shouldn't make you jump through hoops just to avoid crashing your computer X( Thanks for this vid, very helpful!

Great quality and good user guidance! BUT I had a subscription from July 1st, 2023 to June 30th, 2024. Approximately 100 videos with the music “Artlist” were published on KZbin during the active subscription. Everything was fine. But after the subscription expired, I received emails about copyright infringement. My videos have now been blocked many times (around 20 titles). I have to lodge an objection and then a complaint every time. At the same time, I receive emails about extending my subscription through Artlist. Something like that doesn't work at all. Does it preserve your grade to the original file format or is it compressing it down to another format? I'd ideally like to keep the grade on files that still have handles on them so I slip the edits and maintain the grade...but if its changing the file format from BRAW to another format I can't do that :|

I DO NOT RECOMMEND M.A. Just use like mister horse. Because most of the time, you are gonna make your own graphics. Today, I am a victim of their sting. I unsubscribed 2 weeks ago. And here comes a client wants another revision for a project which I installed motion arrays assets on it month ago. When I open the project file, I get watermarked "Motion Array" in all assets I used from them even if this project were done when I was a subscriber. They said in there sites that I can still use their assets I used when I was still cover with subscription even if I unsubscribe. Only thing is I cannot use all I've download with new project. But as I have said this project were done when I was subscribed to their platform. No. Don't use it. There plugins also crashed my project. Like if you copy a certain effect to another item, it will crashed and suddenly close your editing software unsaved.

LOL the render time will annihilate my computer? This is NOTHING compared to what I do when using Owl3D to render normal movies into 3D ones. Yes, I'm gate-keeping but on average it takes 14 hours of frame interpolation followed by 2 days of 3D conversion FOR A SINGLE MOVIE, using an i9 13900KF and an RTX 3080. 8 hours is a piece of cake. Thank you though, great video, especially since the (misleading) tutorial I watched before this stated that all you had to do was change the timeline resolution to 4K and then click "quick export".

Does nest exporting work for clips cut from the same video file or does it only apply to clips taken from seperate video files?

Make a new bin in your project, open that bin. then Shift + U makes sequences without needing to nest. The new sequence will be placed in your new bin.Thank me later.
