I used believe that too, because that is what 'teachers' keeps parroting and repeating to pump their egos, and sound special but who cares, cross fit, athletes body builders who are 70 or 90 yo still does what they love to do, and if you do internal energy work or physical exercise as long as you get the benefit of what you want then go ahead, no need to compare BUT know what you want- focus on that and let other people do what they want.

I love to practice my Qi Gong in forests or at least bare foot on the ground. I have read literature on Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) and Earthing by Clinton/Ober. For myself it is also good that these practices are backed by scientific study, to dispel any woo woo.

I'm currently really enjoying Dr. Ortwin Luer's Wu Chi Quan course on the Martial Man website. I first saw Wu Chi Quan many years ago but never got the opportunity to take part as I was learning Five Ancestors at the time. I'm now finding that the Wu Chi complements my Yang Shou Gong practice well.

Thank you both for this conversation. As a psychotherapist turned internal artist (in training) I would love to hear more. Made me smile to hear Dr. Luers say that his first inspiration was so much like mine- as a kid discovering the Kung Fu series. Nothing even remotely like it at the time. Eye opening introduction to soft power.

Anthony, another great interview, thank you. I had many questions about Lyndon's background, and this answered most of them. What I notice about these YSG teachers is their calmness, humility, and vitality; if this is what doing YSG helps one to embody, I'm all in, starting with the online courses. As a physician who incorporates a lot of mind-body healing modalities into my practice, I'm always looking for ways to increase energy flow, release blockages in the myofascia and meridians, and promote less stress
