Should you secure this with metal bands? I’m thinking if it needs to expand this will restrict it. I’ve seen others use paper masking tape instead which I guess would burn off? Just about to type and repack mine to remove the drone

Tape is supposed to be used yes. The packing is stitched together with a thread which also burns away. It should expand and fill the cavity

Been driving 50 years next January. For most of that time I always wanted something like a Lotus 7 or a Robin Hood. At 70 years old I dunno now if I could still get in and out of them :-) Smashing little video even in portrait mode ;-)

Yeh basically. You can buy them other places and grind them down yourself though

Got to do the alt swap. It’s sat for six weeks and the alt has seized!! Weirdly the car has the ac pump and lines but no A c.

@@YellowSuperSeven it does have ac , pres in the fan knob and it comes on! Just failed it’s not today so it’s toast now

I had to buy an endoscope camera to find the top bolt and put the key on it. I had to do it from the top. This was a painful job, still satysfying to do on your own.

Hi Ben, keep the maintenance videos coming, I already have fitted the same bleed valve on my WF and like you did not really notice any air after starting the the car but it’s good to know if needed it’s there.

I always liked the T500. It kind of got pushed out of the limelight when the Kawasaki H1 surfaced. You did a great job on all these bikes. Well done.

@@YellowSuperSeven It’s a 1.8 Zetec on throttle bodies….. it’s yellow too which wouldn’t be my first choice of colour to be honest. It’s immaculate though, spotless inside and out. Was looking at Caterham’s but I’d need an SV and although I could stretch my budget I really didn’t want to spend that kind of money on a fun car. Been impressed with a lot of the well built Westfields I’ve seen so far. The Toybox cars are prepared to a high standard and the owner seems a decent bloke. Will let you know how I get on. Cheers and thanks again for a great video 👍
