That 85 olds is a PERFECT candidate for a frame and powertrain swap for a post war hot rod, Which has become a VERY popular thing to do now because these mid 70's-mid 80's cars are so cheap to buy and almost noone is rebuilding them by themselves.

The '63 Valiant is the perfect car; it fits my image as a musician. It's worth it; that dent can be pulled easily. I don't know ANY other existing Valiant of this era that's as clean as THIS one is.

I would love to find a fully restored 1966 Ford Ranch Wagon! That was my First Car! Kids today are so spoiled; getting high end cars! At age 16 in 1974, I was thrilled to get that car which was quite beaten up by then!!!

You can find a replacement trunk lid for your '69 Chrysler Newport at several salvage yards near Cape Girardeau, MO. I suggest starting with Junior Sinn Auto Parts, located in Cape Girardeau, which specializes in used auto parts and has a good reputation for quality and service. Another option is Tri-State U-Wrench & Save Auto Parts in Jackson, MO
