Very bad instructional video when you don't show how to remove and swap over the side filter panels when they obviously don't push/click out like the other two panels! Guessing because it ain't easy!

These videos are all useless, and annoying. Guy introduces himself for half the time and then gives the exact same solution for every problem. Clean impeller and filter, balance chemicals.

There is virtually zero instructions on how to add a second robot at a different location. There's nothing logical in your app. I found somewhere online that says you can do it, but there's literally no buttons anywhere in your app but I've tried manually connecting to Bluetooth or Wi-Fi on my phone and nothing happens. Horrible instructions for how to set up multiple devices at different locations. There's nothing logical in your app

Mine was working fine until September 12th since then the app just won’t work at all, my m400 has his own wifi box and we even have him a mobile of his own with his own email adress and log in so that he should never disconnect. Still aaya not connected but the robot keeps going. Can’t use the manual drive function and matrons haven’t called even after numerous enquires and due to time difference I’m going to have to take a day off work to speak to someone. The app reviews are terrible!!!!

We bought one of these in 2020. FABulous Robotic Pool Cleaner. Have never had a problem with it. Until now. The lid wont stay closed now. I see the blue snap latch is removeable so I'm thinking I can purchase one somewhere to replace it? Do you sell them? or do you know who does? Thanking you in advance

I bought an active 40 three years ago and it worked perfectly for the first year but hasn't worked for the last 18 months. I've spent the last 9 months working with the retailer (pinch a penny) who says maytronic has been mostly unresponsive and can't get it working but hasn't offered a refund despite a 3 year warranty. Save your $1500 and buy something other than a maytronic.

Had customer service send me this, hoping it would work for a power supply/control module that would not power on, or would automatically be on and not turn off, still didn't fix it but it's good to see how to get into the impeller area to give it a good cleaning, Unfortunately I have to send my whole unit back to Maytronics to have them fix something, even though it appears to be a power supply issue.

Pulling that piece off at :32, that doesn't fu**ing work and it's the first thing in the instructions. Right off the bat this this is a piece of sh*t. What moron designed this thing? Either make the instructions better or make it come off easier like in this video.

The directions in the box are worthless. You have a choice, install the pleated filters or other fine screen filters which come preinstalled in box. You can not use both simultaneously. With the pleated filters it helps to install the long filters first and then the shorter side filters. The programming instructions are terrible. The good news is the robot seems to work great.

Hello Donna, Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We've forwarded it to the relevant team. Also, the Ultra-Fine filters (accordion shaped) are used for small debris such as sand, while the Fine filters (net) are used for larger debris such as leaves.

Good review. FYI, this is the biggest POS out there. Well, at least the bigger POS I've had purchased. Expect the treat to go out every 2 years. The wheels bushings will require replacement every two years. Wheels, oh yeah, those two. Along with internal gears. And, if that is not enough, the motor assembly leaks and water destroys the board and both motors. $400 for a new motor replacement. Do I need to let you know how often it gets tangled up with it's own cord? A LOT! Overall, a waste of money. Unless you only want it for ....drum rollll. 2 years!

We'd like to emphesize that our robots are designed to last for years, but it depends on the use and maintenance of the unit (for example, prolonged exposure to unbalanced chemicals, working in an unbalanced pool and incongruous storage of the unit) can affect the robot's life cycle. I am sure you take good care of your robot, but there are outliers and things out of our control. we can say this is not common for our customers.
