My flex plate is making noise like marble in my engine... got to swap the flex plate, but way over my head... been looking for a video on how to do it... this is the best one I have found by far. Way to know exact details and mention tips for success! Many people don't know about these 46RE's being very picky on ATF+4 and not the commonly sold "Universal ATF". It'll specifically say for Chrysler products.

i got 1 of these. getting gurgling/bubling sound from mid engine. was thinking jus take the front end off. bumper, coolers etc and jus go in like that. Then i was thinking. how much for a new engine. kuz im goin new pullies, pump, heads , like fuk it. get more on the resale price

Great vid, thanks for posting. I just reinstalled my engine and had to deal with a lot of this. I found it easiest to torque the flexplate-torque converter through the starter hole before finishing with the dust cover.

Brand doesn't matter , hell it doesn't really matter if you mix brands of fluid but Mopar transmissions are atf+4 only, wouldn't even trust the bottles that say they're good for atf+4 merconv and a few others

@@autodriveforce0450 yeah, I found out it was a starter going bad. Usually when the star go bad, it makes noise it just never turned over at all.🤔, but it was started the whole time😌

Very detailed. Great video that I will use when it comes to reinstalling my transmission. I did a full rebuild on mine. The pump and torque converter went out as well. But I was glad I did a rebuild parts needed to be changed out the overdrive sungear and plate with the steels and friction plates overdrive intermediate shaft, case saver that goes in behind the overdrive big snap ring that holds the overdrive in place in the case. Cleaning the value body and putting in an sonnex rebuild kit so that the tranny can pump in park. Basically on an dodge you can only check the tranny fluid in neutral. So sonnex came out with a kit too rebuild the value body very easy kit.

@@autodriveforce0450 now I have a crank no start, which is because of my electrolytic capacitors in the PCM where damaged. But the transmission work was very interesting. It was my first one, I have ever taken apart but it's good too learn something different for a chance.

for me that whining meant that my power steering pump was going out I know this because before selling the car I was driving and it fully went out and when I turned that sound didn't happen
