this event was awesome and I enjoyed it a lot!! can't to be back one day! Can highly recommend doing this marathon -- it's challenging, you get too know a lot of great people and it's so much fun ❤

The start is in Petra for both Half Marathon and Marathon. The finish area is just outside Petra.

I'm heading to Iceland next year in August with my dad. Unfortunately I cannot attempt the (half) marathon, since entry is only allowed if you book a full trip with Albatros. Such a bummer, since this would be one of the highlights of our trip. I would easily pay 100eu just to enter the race and receive the beautiful medal. I really hope that the organisation will reconcider their policy. My dad and I just want our own roadtrip (10/11 days) in Iceland and halfway attend this incredible marathon. We don't fancy an organised pre-scheduled trip.
