How do you keep the super glue from saturating the wood " blocking final stain " ?
@ARMORDILLOdesigns3 күн бұрын
It was tedious. I had to sand it after every application of the glue in order to expose the raw wood each time. Also after sanding the copper too much it may darken the wood. If so just use a 220 grit and sand the wood on each side of the copper until the wood looks right.

I'll bite. What the hell is a smoker puck?
@christopherd5941Ай бұрын
You know how sometimes you’ll see drinks that look like they’re smoking on top of the drink, especially from old movies? That’s basically what it’s meant for. Cocktail effects and such. Some people say that the smoke, depending on what is being burnt, causes an extra flavor to a drink.
@ARMORDILLOdesignsАй бұрын
This is a 30 sec short on how to use one. kzbin.infopjYVD3nbiiw People use it specifically for "old fashioned" whiskey drinks that are served in a low ball glass. I like the smell after it has been smoked, but I don't drink whiskey. It makes my eyes turn red and I fall down.

First, thank you for leaving a message! The music is from my brother, who is a Nashville Recording Artist. His name is Casey James. The song name is Different Kind of Love, and the Album name is Strip It All Down. If you can turn up the quality to 1080 and at At 54 seconds in, pause it. It give you a decent look at it.Those are the hand drawn schematics I used. here are the dimensions as well: Dimensions are 24" wide x 36" tall the flower box is 24" wide x 5 1/2" tall sides of the flower box are4 1/2" wide x5 1/2" tall bottom of flower box is 25" x 5" and the flower box is mounted 3" up from bottom The walnut trim around the top was an afterthought, It is 1/8 "thick x 1" wide and unsure on length I hope this helps! Check out Casey's other stuff with a Band called Texas Hill, you won't be disappointed!

Did dip my first rifle stock today. It was pure horror. Air bubbles everywhere + the film rolled like crazy and did take on water upside.... So i never expected this to work. BUT it did! Some very little damage but overall i love it how my new stock looks.

@@ARMORDILLOdesigns Thank you for the answer. Yeah it was really helpfull. My first try was on a cheap Winchester bolt action rifle ;) My thought were if i mess this up so be it ;) but then at least it was just a 800 buck rifle... But now comes my $ 3.500 Daniel Defence DD5 V4 in 6,5 Creed + a 2000$ swarovski scope. (And i´m allready sweating blood) Because if i ruin this then outch..... ;) Greetings from Europe.
@ARMORDILLOdesigns2 ай бұрын
I did the same thing (I mean experimenting on a Savage 25-06 bolt action before anything else). Actually I did a gallon jug, and then an Xbox controller 1st, then the bolt action. I am glad it worked for you. You have some neat toys! I have never seen a swarovski in person. You can use the hydrodip film, a tiny paintbrush, and a beer bottle cap to fix the bubble spots. Spray a bit of the activator in the bottle cap and then dab the color you need from the leftover film on to the the surface of whatever you dipped. Then do the clear coat.

@@ARMORDILLOdesigns Thanks for the tip. My dip of the daniel defense worked perfectly. (I screwed up the first try on my scope because i overactivated) But my 2nd. try was ok (not perfect but ok ;) For the swarovski. Well i´m from Austria so they are everywhere. They are produced here just like Glocks and Steyr arms. So every gun shop has a bunch of them :) greetings.

First, thank you for taking the time to leave a comment! You are absolutely correct, I was a complete novice when I made this. But, I did intend for it to appear hand made "rough". You are also correct on the lack of design, because I made it up as i went along. This whole project was a fun goof just to see if I could do it. As Far as the "tattoo" it would have been much easier to use powdered copper with CA glue instead of copper wires. Because it would have allowed me to go crazy with the smaller details in copper, but unfortunately I did not discover it until over a year after this was completed. I am no expert, but If you enjoy things that look like they came from a machine I would think there are a lot factory videos on here of soup can production, or the Discovery channel has the "How It's Made" Series. Lots of "perfect" factory stuff in those to watch.

Great video bud. I have watched several, 👀. Reason being, I built several P80s, but i recently built a Geisler 19X and put a dagger slide with a green dot. It runs great, no holsters though, so I'm gonna make my own. Probably gonna go scrounge stuff for my press tomorrow morning. Again, great video!!
@ARMORDILLOdesigns3 ай бұрын
Thank you for the compliments! I hope it this video will help with your holsters. It sounds like you are crushing it on the pistol builds. I am going to look up the Geisler 19X because I have never heard of it (which means it is probably a high end product). I bought the foam for the press on Amazon, it was a high temperature resistant. I found the link and, just posted it to the supply list for this video. Also depending on what you need, you may want an adjustable retention holster. I made a video for that type as well, but I do not think it is as detailed as this one.
