What was your infil 😭, I'm printing a 200% scale and I can't fit the parts together

Hi. Unfortunately I never scale model I followed the recommended print settings from this link www.printables.com/model/593185-dummy-13-printable-jointed-figure-beta-files where (100% scale, 0.4mm nozzle) Material: Frame parts - ABS, ASA, or PETG (I printed frame in PLA.) Armor parts - Any Layer height: First layer - 0.2 mm Other layers - 0.15 mm Infill - 20% rectilinear First layer speed - 25% of default Elephant foot compensation - 0.15 mm Supports - None Brim - 5mm The naming obviously depends on the slicer.

Hah, it's kinda like 3D printed Gunpla. I gotta figure out how to set my slicer so that my tolerances on 3d printed articulated parts are good

How did you print with PLA? I heard you had to print it with PETG or abs filament
@aspeed3dtoys2 ай бұрын
That's right. It's better to print the frame in PETG or ABS.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. The figure I 3d printed didn’t cost too much-just a couple of bucks for the filament and electricity. The real fun was in putting it together! 😄 Thanks again for your support, I appreciate it!

How did you print it I have a creality ender 3 and the limbs just suck I only have PLA filament and have printed both the armor and skeleton in 125% and 0.15 mm layer height any tips?
@aspeed3dtoys4 ай бұрын
Hi there! I use a Bambu A1 3D printer with a 0.2 mm nozzle and 0.1 mm layer height. For your Ender 3, try using the same nozzle and layer height and slow down your print speed to 40-60 mm/s. I hope it will work

@@aspeed3dtoys hi it's me again just wondering the nozzle that comes with the ender 3 is a 4mm right I might be wrong but if not what is the layer height for it?
@aspeed3dtoys4 ай бұрын
@@averynielson-is9km Hi there! The Ender 3 default size nozzle is 0.4mm. However, it also supports other sizes like 0.2mm. For a 0.4mm nozzle as advised by Dummy's 13 creator: a First layer 0.2 mm Other layers 0.15 mm you can find Recommended print settings here: www.printables.com/model/593185-dummy-13-printable-jointed-figure-beta-files I Hope it will help

@@aspeed3dtoysI tried it and it was worse I used the same settings you suggested and the limbs don't fit together they are too big should I size it up?
