Hey Heidi, I'm trying to learn a bit about the school because they're interviewing me on the 13th, is there something that stands out to you now that makes you really thankful that the school offers that maybe others don't?

Congratulations on the interview!!! That is an exciting accomplishment, enjoy the moment and PLEASE enjoy the interview. I was a bundle of nerves during my interview but practice for it and stay true to who you are! Honestly my favorite thing is the fact that they do not track. So we are encouraged to get all ranges of vet med instead of just focusing on one side. For example, I would love to just do equine but I want to be a vet who can see all animals and Auburn has really opened up multiple opportunities for me to do that! Including dabbling in aquatic medicine opportunities :). A few other things I love about Auburn are the faculty and the fact that our teaching hospital is on campus! If you have any other questions I would be more than happy to answer them!

is there free parking at the vet school for the vet students?

Unfortunately, we also have to abide by the university guidelines and pay for a parking pass with the specific zone for our parking lot! So no free parking!

@@BecomingDrHeidi Is it competitive to get the parking pass like undergrad? Or can first year students get parking passes without any issues?

@@Chaney_Johnson_FanI personally did not have any issues and actually forgot to get my pass as soon as it opened (also came from competitive undergrad parking pass wars). Now I can only speak for my vet school specifically. I’m not sure on other vet schools!
