Yeah, love Daath, looking at my copy of the album right now. Beyond excellent. Must look into their back catalogue too now. Cheers Hedgy.

There's a tonne of stuff going on in these songs... alas that felt like a bit too much stuff going on for me. All the bits were great, but all together just felt too much this time

Just brilliant. I bought this album after your previous video and have been enjoying every minute of it. Such great melodies and riffs. Great song construction. I now need to go into their back catalog.

Those calmer moments in the song really gave it that atmosphere and helped convey the emotion. Added bonus, it made the heavy parts feel even heavier. Excellent song

Excellent song. I think I heard some Maria Brink (In This Moment) influence in the vocals. Superb musically and yes. very affecting and emotional. Well done Hedgy. btw I fully agree, it's better to celebrate a person's life rather than only to mourn their death.

I just had the feeling that it hit you personally in some way. That's what music is all about. Emotion. There was a lot of reverb in the song (something modern), but I get it when you say there's a lot of emotion. Nice to see that in your 'reaction' (because I think that's what it was). Most of the time you do some analysis of the songs, but this one was something else. Cheers anyhow 🍺 and have a nice weekend.

Not my pile of black metal tbh. Try out eastern European black, smth like mgla, drudkh or cult of fire
Loved it. Heavy as hell and catchy at the same time

The vocalist sounds a bit like the singer of Haken. Decent song and a superb guitarsolo.

To my shame, this is my first time hearing Winterfylleth on record. But I've seen them live a couple of times (at Bloodstock & supporting Anaal Nathrakh in Birmingham) and their live shows are just as awesome as this. Really love that sort of cycling guitar that this sort of black metal has, adds to that feeling of relentlessness (I think you're actually pronouncing it correct as well)

That is incredible black metal. That nonstop fast guitar strum, great drumbeat, classic vocals. Nice dark vibe. Fittingly, September 13 is Friday the 13th. Top banana....

really beautiful I've become enamored with clean female vocals in metal, shout out to Pete Worrall and The Spectre Beneath. Inventive writing and that drum line was great. I've been spending quite a bit on Bandcamp lately, here goes more.

Eastern vibe, always good. Now this is complete musicianship. The way they built up in the middle of the song <33. Her voice is very nice. One of a kind. That's what I like.

Long time no listen (used to comment here under the name Jeff, been meaning to catch up on the old videos for a while now), had to hop in here when I saw you were listening to Fellowship, I came across that album last year and it quickly became my most listened album of the year. It's just good, clean power metal done right, bouncing along with fun melodies you end up humming to yourself long after the music has stopped. This particular song starts the album and, honestly, is sort of middling for the album in my opinion, Oak And Ash and Glint are two of my favorites and also speak to each other in their lyrics (the former asks "Will I be worthy?" and later in the album the latter answers back with a resounding "I've always been worthy", gives me chills). Good to hear from Paz that they're just as great live, fingers crossed that they'll be successful enough to do some US touring eventually.

You will love Tiamat if you don't know them! Listen to the albums "Clouds" and then "Wildhoney". Wildhoney is easily one of the best albums of the '90s

Hi mate I know many reaction channels what a waste of time,. One in particular definitely has mental health problems. He makes 8 videos on a Sunday and can't discuss because if disagree well. And this guys you going to love this. He can't do female singers, harsh vocals etc and fast songs that's a good start- not Keep up the good work

As you say this has been unblocked now.... Releasing this song (and Qwerty from the previous album) brought the spark back for me. The spectacle isn't just limited to their videos. Their live gigs are very much a show in their own right with theatrics and water drums. They've got 2 dates in UK next month, Birmingham and London (no good for you but great for me)
@kevinfitzpatrick44415 күн бұрын
Ahh the bands of my teenage years. Apologies for being that guy but I have kinda drifted away from them with recent releases. There was one album they did that I just found really boring (beautiful stories for ugly children) and I fell out of love with them. They'd always had that mix of industrial (or to an extent nu-metal) stylings with melodic bits, but it started feeling like the two sides didn't belong together anymore at that point. Their latest albums were better, more of a return to form, but not quite that same feeling

EP of the year, in all honesty i can recommend checking the whole ep out in order, it's an awesome journey.
