when i enter m flash and select the file from my usb to update, it states that the update isnt secure and to contact msi ? does anyone know how to get it to work. i am using a 32gb flash drive in FAT32 format, and there are no other files on the usb

What about the EXE files on the website why are they not included in the bios flashing file download? Do you need to run them? I flashed months ago, came back to check for updated bios and noticed download links for an exe file that needs to be ran

Make sure to have it in he specific USB port for flashing BIOS. Mine was not labeled and I had to refer to the user manual. Wish I stated there before searching around my house for 2 hours looking for different USB stick to have none of them work...

i regret buy the X870P. Never had so many issues with RAM. Tried 5 different ones till i get it working. What i realy hate is, after BIOS Update, i need to set all FAN speeds (controle) from scratch what takes a lot. Even an export in MSI windows app, doesnt help. seems it doesnt count/work! so its useless give an export function when it cant take the informations from the BIOS settings. So i expect, if i do the new BIOS update, than all settings gone again, right? sorry for my "bad" english

Is it possible to update the bios without a cpu? Had an old 1600that i was replacing with 5600x. The 1600 pins bent when I took it out because it was old and completely stuck to the fan. Im now getting a red led with my 5600 I assume because my bios is not updated. Cant update bios because old processor is now broken. Is there a flashback+ on this board or is it too old? Idk what to do now

I had put this off for so long due to all the reports of bricked monitors, but finally bit the bullet when I switched laptops and the monitor stopped waking from sleep. I held my breath while this was running but all seems to have worked. Annoyingly, the monitor still doesn't wake up from sleep.
