Very informative video. I have a fully functional light fixture which uses 220volt AC but now I am trying to move it and use it on a regular 110v AC supply. The light fixture has a lot of LED lights i.e. ten small LED lights and ten bigger LED lights all in series but I am confused with the inscription on the driver. The driver says Input: 180 - 265VAC and Output: 190 - 260VDC 240mA. I tested the driver on a 110vac outlet and it doesn't work because I think it is for 220vac supply. I think I would have to replace the driver with the right type for 110vac supply. I am not sure if there is any driver that can take 110vac and provide me with 220vdc output or am I reading something wrong. What do you think?

Can you do a similar one for LED lights connected in Series. I want to get a correct driver for my 18W light with 98 LEDs, connected in pairs (2 each in parrallel) and all pairs (49 pairs ) connected in series.

Hello. I don't know the wattage of the LED strips. There are about five strips of five feet each. How many watts should I get the Driver if I don't know the wattage of the LED strips? is there a standard number you can give? It's for a closet, being used in the drawers. Please help!

We sell a wide range of profiles, including surface mounted and tile-in profiles. You might find surface mounted profiles work best with PVC surfaces, or if you need to lights to be recessed then you could install profile between tiles.

This is very useful. What about the amperage, what role does that play? If you connected 2 strips of 12V, does that mean it needs to be 24V or does it remain as 12V but the wattage goes up?

Divide the power (in watts) by the voltage. e . g. 30 watts at 12 volts is 2.5 Amps. This will decide the rating of the wiring, connectors, etc.

Hi, this product has cut points every 41.7mm. We don't recommend cutting outside of the cut points as this will most likely eliminate all the LEDs within that section.

These generally will come in led light fixtures. This will go in the oval or square that is mounted to the ceiling . It’s a pretty tight fit but the more powerful the fixture the more space they’ll leave for it.

@@trillium_music I'm planning on building my own fixture, it's basically an led strip. It's going in a conservatory so the plan is to have the transformer in an enclosure on the wall, then have a length of 24V line to the strip, but I have no idea if this is legit or not.

I’m not electrician But to my the best of my understanding as long as they are in a junction box and connected in there you should be fine. That would depend on type of led strip you go for and how much watts per metere it consumes since each have different power rating

Are you sure the output is 72-144V 260A??? So the wattage will be 18720W. It seems there is something wrong.

Just doesn't work at all 😁. I've connected everything 3 times now, polarities are correct, drive has power (red light is showing) but the strip just doesn't come on.
