He needs to be more aggressive. We saw what he’s capable of in the 2nd half. He’s gotta stop being so passive.
@justinlong55895 күн бұрын
Yes that's what doomed KU last year he was looking to facilitate over scoring and he had good looks to score he had easy lay ups or open shots yet he would always look to pass which is fine but I wanna see DaJuan score more KU is more dangerous when he is aggressive offensively we already know he can pass and defend at a high level if he can give us 15 to 18 pts a game along with good defense and his 7 to 9 assist with Hunter, KJ and guys we got this year we should be pretty good!!

I badly wanna see Clemence succeed. I’ve had unjustified faith in him in the past. Not sure I see him getting consistent minutes this season barring injuries. Unless Self wants to play with size more often.

I remember seeing Kansas play the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) at the Palestra during Boschee's freshman year...Penn had a player (Ironically) named Michael Jordan, that was one of the best guards in Philadelphia, and the best player in the Ivy League. Penn had a good team, and Kansas that year was in a bit of a transition, after losing Pierce, Raef, Jacque and Pollard. Penn was good and went on to win the Ivy league that year, and the Palestra was absolutely packed - totally shoulder to shoulder and just rocking. Penn kept it close, and then Jeff Boschee absolutely COOKED Michael Jordan at the end...He hit like 3-4 gigantic jump shots in the last three minutes, and I just remember this bald headed freshman just killing this established player, that was a junior, and one of the best players in the Philly area. I always loved Boschee's game because he was a sniper, and seemed to be fearless. What an absolute PURE shooter, and just a great overall player. I also liked when he had the bald head...Not sure why, but I thought he pulled it off well :)

That 1996-97 was one of the best KU has ever had...Lafrentz, Pollard, Pierce, Vaughn, and Haase! They might not have won the national championship but they were as good as team as any and they were to fun to watch!

One of my top college players of all-time. The only hooper other than Marcus Williams that lowkeymade me wish I was a smooth lefty. My grandma use to give me cash if I would get straight A's and I worked so damn hard to get those good grades and save up my money to buy a Keith Langford jersey back in like 03-04-05 I think when I was in 5th-6th grade. I still have a Keith Langford Kansas Jersey I saved up for Was so happy to recently see he became somewhat of a legend over there in they Euro Leagues. Dude was the complete package but didn't have the frame and game-type to be a consistent rotation or starter in the NBA. So skilled in all aspects though.

I miss those KU offenses. The guard drove the ball hard to the wing, big set the screen to open the wing inside, everybody rebounded, not just 1 guy.

1:30:44 Arguably the most important shot in NCAA tournament history. Let me explain: 1) Shots made in the championship game are instantly more important than any other buzzer beater/game winner or shot in any of the earlier rounds in the tournament. 2) So now you have to compare it to other shots in championship games. Michael Jordan's shot put UNC ahead of Georgetown but that didn't end the game. Georgetown still had a chance to do something, but the player made a mistake and turned it over. Then you think of NC State's dunk of the airball to beat Houston or Jenkins shot to have Nova beat UNC. Two incredible moments but those games were tied when those game winners were made. If either of those miss the game isn't over. If Chalmers misses this shot, the game is over and Memphis wins. 3) A few months later it was discovered that Memphis had an ineligible player and had to vacate every win from that season. Had they won this game they would've had to vacate the championship as well. Chalmers making this shot helped prevent there being no champion for the 2007-2008 season. And this was a historic tournament as it was the first and so far, only time all four one seeds made it to the Final Four. Kansas winning helped preserve that historic moment for all time.

Easily the most fundamentally sound Kansas Basketball team of all-time! Not to mention one of the best NCAA Champion college basketball teams ever in the history of college basketball. This team was as complete as it gets and it had everything you needed to be an all-time team. I also loved watching the 22 team too. I wish the 2019-20 team had a chance to win that national championship. Kansas would have had 5 titles by now. Stupid Covid!

@Noahbarkley-vq3ef2 ай бұрын
I agree. Completely outplayed och in the whole final four
@stonecoldku41612 ай бұрын
@@Noahbarkley-vq3ef I think they played pretty evenly those last two games, hence "Co-MOP". However, had the voters for the MOP been able to wait until after the game to turn in their votes then I think David would've gotten it for the two shots at the end. But they had to turn in their votes with a few minutes left to go on the game clock, so those four points at the end weren't added to his performance as part of that voting. Stupid rule. Turn them in after the game is over, why is that so hard? At that point I think Och had 12 points and David had 11. Plus, David went up against Bacot who had that bad ankle going into the game, and Bacot ended his night 15 points and 15 rebounds. I think that could've made a difference in the voting.
