I have a hard time turning my flint wheel to get a spark. Do you have any idea why this is happening?

@@malcolmd5851 it’s probably a build up of dirt, you could try and spray a bit of wd40 if you don’t want to strip it down, remove the flint first and replace it when it’s dry.

Please continue this series it's INCREDIBLY helpful. My side wheel won't turn at all, and if you could show how to fully remove the side adjustment, and then how to fully reassemble I would die a happy man..

Thanks for the video. I ordered a 90 degree pipe flame valve on ebay and they only sent me the inner needle part instead. Your video shows that you need a special tool to dissemble this valve, so it looks like back to ebay I go to tell them to send me the proper part that I actually ordered. Thanks for making this so I could see how it works.

hi thanks for the comment, when you order a pipe valve that is all you receive the inner needle, i dont think i have seen a complete pipe needle valve for sale, you dont need a special tool to open the needle valve it can opened with a fork and pliers, slide the needle between the fork prongs then grip with pliers and pull it apart, i recommend doing this inside a plastic bag because you could lose the spring when it seperates, a huge amount of people use this method, good luck 👍

@@DunhillRollagasRestoration Thanks. Yes, they do sell the complete valve assembly. Multiple sellers do. I have both things now and am working on getting things working right. I also did manage to use the fork trick to disassemble the valve. Thanks.

Hi, great detailed videos. Do you work on other peoples lighters? I have this beautiful gold Rollagas (barley?) that’s been in a drawer for years. The roller became stuck at some point. Would like to get it working again someday. I’m sub #4! 👍🏽
