This is the song that got me into this group. Sophomore year in High School I took American Sign Language 1 for my first of 3 years of Language classes and one of the projects for the class to do was pick a song and sign it, which is how ASL users sing, and I chose this song and I did it perfectly. When I went to the concert they had in Washington state where my high school was, I was signing this song while it was being sung. Such a beautiful voice and song with lots of meaning

One time, I entered a dream state (ie, I fell asleep) and I saw this young boy with a guitar-like instrument, and he was playing music that was just Heavenly. I would wake up and try to replicate it on my guitar, but it was no use. Not because I couldn't remember the song, not because the notes were coming too fast, but they just don't exist in the world we're sharing now. You've heard of people entering altered states and experiencing new colors, what about new notes? I still remember a couple bars. I'll try to hum them right now................................ Nothing is coming out of my mouth. I can't hum it, and you can't draw me a picture using unknowable colors. The closest song I could name that sounds like the Heaven song would probably be the main riff off of Sweet Child O' Mine, and I'm not saying that riff is THAT close bc it's not, it's just closest. (It's about twice as fast for one thing. I'm telling you, figuring out the Heaven song on a "real" guitar wouldn't be that hard if the notes were there.) Anyway, just wanted to say this song here reminds me of the emotional state I was in listening to the Heaven song. If I were you, I would learn to love this song if you don't already. ;)

In 2009, after procrastinating for several months, I wrote my master's thesis in a few weeks, because there was no choice at that point. To achieve this, I simply put my headset on and listened to this song in a loop. This song is a door to an other world, and her voice is, precisely, otherworldly. Absolutely wonderful.
