I was pou on it too. After a month taking this drug, I started to see myself looking older than I used to look. At that moment I became so angry that I could not hold my tears ...Before hearing voices, I was beeb byllied in my community which called me " the poor woman" but I did not understand why. Anyway some day I began hearing bad coments about this poor woman, who has got older and people laughed about it, and said things like " she is bad, therefore looks horrible"...and tjhings like that...women were laughing about my age....the train is gone by, poor woman....I was beeing bullied because I looked older than before and people were glad a out it cause someone lied about me telling I am the one crisizing women in SaLzburg for aging so fast...I suposse, people reacted with mobbing. ....

Tapered down from 15mg to 2,5mg and skipped dose for two nights. First night i slept 5hours, last nitht i slept 3hours. Interesting is that anxiety didn’t lasted all night but racing thougts was main reason i couldnt sleep. I think i am going to take 2,5mg dose until i sleep at least 6hours then reduce to 1.25mg

My cholesterol is high and now im on crestor. Also my prolactin levels are elevated which olanzapine can cause. Olanzapine can cause sleep apnea. Also i get very bad brain fog in the morning. Im prescribed it for shizoaffective disorder depressive type. I know i need a antipsychotic but i want to be on a different one. I know someone that is on it for sleep. Also i get heavily sedated from it

Im on 20 mgs of this medication. Im nervous about all the things i have heard about it. My psychiatrist doesnt want me off of it due to the severity of my illness when i dont take it. Im not sure what to do. I have been on this med at this dose for many yrs.

I have been on it since 1998 was on 10mg until 2017...I began my own tapering...I am now on 1.25mg...i am in hell and being tortured from no sleep...I am experiencing all the symptoms you mentioned... I was homeless at the time... psych said even though I don't have schizophrenia....he thought I would do well on it...I thought he was there to help....it is abuse of power of those who are not educated.... thankyou

I'm currently take 1.25 mg for the past 2 weeks or so, I cut the 2.5 mg pill in half, and so far I'm doing okay..right at this moment I have a bit of a headache, but can't say if it's a withdrawl symptom or just a regular headache....wondering how much longer I should take 1.25 mg's until I cut it back even more..1.25mg is a TINY dose for this medication. the minimum dose is like 5 mg's I think. I had horrible sexual dysfunction because of this drug, because my prolactin levels were through the roof, luckily I found an anti-prolactin medication online and it has TOTALLY fixed my sex drive!, kind of expensive to get each month, but worth every penny

100% true. Mate, I can definitely feel for you, been there myself with my own scary stories about it all a few times now over the last 14 years. I'm currently withdrawing down from 15mg 2 week depot (needle). Went back onto 10mg oral pills, and spent last 3 months slowly coming down. I'm at 3mg now and struggling with it again. The last part is the hardest. Past experiences have been awful, so know you're not alone, but I did eventually get there in the past. My prayers are with you bro 🙏.

My daughter has tried to taper off for 5/6 months and she still keep relapsing (off Ativan as well). I am also on this drug, was prescribed that because of chronic insomnia, at first it took 15mg, now tapered to 3,75mg the next steps are 2,5mg and 1,25mg, sometimes i wake up at nights but sleeping pretty fine, i hope one day ill be off this drug😢

Hey, coming off this now after three years. Huge appetite and in a way I was still tripping balls at night anyway. Learning to record and deal with my feelings helps way more to stabilize/ground the mind in the body I think.

Sorry..weight gain should be the least of your concerns...I don't understand why you keep fretting on weight gain. The biggest issue is these are neurotoxins and how it damage your brain very easily and quickly. Weight gain can always be lost, but brain damage is tough..no offence. I'm also badly brain injured by these poison . I don't mind putting on 50 pounds if my brain is left unscathed. Many are harmed by these AP after short and low dosage of 2 weeks to months.., brain impairment, akathisa, EPD and more. What is weight gain compared to brain damaged ?

Took olanzapine for psychosis. Ended up with ocd! I’m on 2.5 just went to 1.8. Say I have ocd because of intrusive thoughts. I think it was the olanzapine

I was in a secure unit for a while, in there I was on lorazepam and olanzapene. I got out secure and I'm now 9 months into olanzapene 15mg per day and mitrazipine 15mg per day prescription. No positive improvements whatsoever

Do your self a favor as a Psychiatric Nurse….DONT TAKE Zyprexa. If you want an early death go for it. It’s basically Clozaril. Big Pharma tweaked the Clozapine molecule to get Zyprexa so you don’t need weekly blood tests.
