It’s bc of elemental band synergy as I stated in the vid. It’s a free 4% generic empower for classes that run the elemental band where a normal perk like harnessing is 2% empower towards only 1 element. I agree w out this tech it’s a lot less useful.

The more healing is involved the less useful health is because dmg mitigation’s value scales on effective health (including healing)

This is more meant for pvp I need to do a pve one too… The BiS perks differ between the modes since the internal mechanics are different. This causes some perks to give more resistance in pve vs others give more resistance in pvp.

Voidblade ig, ls flail, and sns flail are all endgame viable builds. Think ls flail is the easiest to get online. Voidblade ig requires a ton of perks…

@ that is super helpful. I have been going back and forth between ls/flail and sns/flail as I solo my way into the mid-30s. I randomly invite people in whatever area I am in since we are doing the same content or part of the msq, but no one ever accepts, at least not on Hudsonland, or with me being xbox.

It’s not as good as other builds (like maybe C tier). If you use flamethrower as a catalyst for pillar of fire it can be strong though!

because you need to be wearing medium armor (which doesn't give a damage bonus), thus losing 15% of the base damage of light armor.

@@angrygamesty But you get 15% dmg buff from artifact pants and that buff is the same type as equipment loadout buff. You have literally the same damage as long as you play full elemental weapons while having medium armor. The only difference is you get shorter dodge for -5% crit damage, no -10% block stability debuff from light, shorter penalty after being hit and you can wear 2 pieces with Elemental Aversion and Enchanted Ward as well (heavy chest + medium boots that drop from sandwurm which are upgradable to 725), so overall it even can reach higher gearscore while having the same perks, same damage and more armor. The only upside of light armor is dodge roll distance. Being squishy target like in this build that can get 3-4 attacks and die is fun as long as noone attacks you and you have good healer. Imo playing light full elemental builds right now is just trolling

Firestaff has a very high crit chance, has a nice crit multiplier (opposite to bb). The idea behind fs is your at empower cap without trying, so picking perks that +base damage used to be the play. Fireball used to be the play when it was +55% not + 15%, The Flintstick with the illegal perk combo + an Attunement is what i would be running this fresh start if I hadn’t already spent 2 years play fs dps in wars :) im after something new this time round.

@@kanebear12you would run attunement over penetrating the empowered? From what I’ve gathered the new pvp perk is bugged and it give you the damage buff even if there not empowerd

It’s one of the best abilities in the game now w disease… you cut fireball before shower now imo

@@mecr0wyea, i got laughed at for pairing fs with pestilence at the start of the expac. Aoe fs is a dps stick, any multi target disease you add turns that damage from pad into pressure.

But yes, burnout is more assassin/ opr weighted. Mobility and burst in a pinch. Combine with deto to go Brrrrrrrr.
