look into avid media composer, with their new panel SDK. you should implement at least pulling from avid to this. could be handy for LUT generation, easier turnovers to resolve, etc.

I bought this during the beta. I use look designer in Davinci. LD might possibly be the most underrated color tool out there. Look designer is absolutely amazing. Thank you!!! Even little things like having access to Gamut limit and push pull so quickly... the the contrast curves and negative and print stock options. Just a seamless experience. Amazing.

Hi, when I try to Push to Resolve, your software says, 'Please make sure that this project is a DaVinci Resolve project.'. I'm on M1 MBP and it's a trial version. Also when I Fetch from Resolve, it says, 'Project Manager is not available. Resolve Studio is not running.' but my Davinci Resolve is open with a clip in it.

I tried this. The resolve files are .braw , and nothing happened when i hit fetch from resolve.

Look designer brakes the image when I use it with this color management. Where do I put the look designer in the sequence or what settings do I need to use for it to perform correctly. Cheers loving this so far.

Hello! I'm super fascinated, but at the same time highly skeptical about this :) If this indeed works like magic, it definitely has its place inside a professional workflow, as color balancing can be a very time-consuming, but also important process. But i am very curious how it works. Shot 1 can be blue, shot 2 can be green. How does the software know what i want? It could be just 2 different lights, intentionally creating different moods. Maybe i want to match it, maybe it don't, right? This is an exaggerated example, but as we work in a creative field, there is often no "correct". By the way, looking at the shots if you scroll through them at 4:54, i think i still see a little bit of magenta/green difference between them, looking especially at the wooden pillars and skin tones when comparing the same people in different shots. It's definitely close, that i must admit. Technically matching 2 different camera's/lenses is less subjective of course, but that's where color charts rule the world. (for me at least) You sound like someone who knows what people in this field want, especially after seeing the fixed node tree workflow, which is really cool, So i wonder what your point of view is on this. cheers!
