Miami was scared 😝 I found out recently that Miami actually backed out of playing Notre Dame this season. Since the Hurricanes chickened out that’s why ND played Army in the annual Shamrock Series. Could you imagine (9-1) Miami vs (9-1) ND this season?!? It would have been huge with playoff implications on the line.

Look bama has 3 losses and the loss to the Sooners was bad! They have no business sitting right outside the door waiting for someone to lose to get in with 3 losses. The sec bias is ridiculous. That being said worst case scenario for Miami is 2 losses! They should get in, I also believe SMU should get in if they win out. Clemson if they can beat SC they should be in. We will see how it plays out but you gotta give the ACC some credit for what the top teams in the conference have done this year. It’s been a gauntlet for all the conferences this year to say the least. This is the new norm for college ball.

This last week of regular schedule football could change the playoff selection a lot. You have UGA playing GT which is normally not a big deal, but if GT pulls off the upset. UGA would most likely be knocked out. Miami on upset alert, Clemson on upset alert,Texas on upset alert,Tennessee is playing Vandy who is capable of upsetting a top SEC team any week, Notre Dame is on upset alert.

Miami & SMU beating the team that beat Miami is technically irrelevant in my opinion. It's about the common opponents factor. If 2 teams are tied in a conference you start using tie breakers, like common opponents or strength of schedule. If SMU & Clemson both end up with a tying record but never played each other, the CFP comity could value Clemson beating SC (a ranked opponent) more than how well Clemson and SMU performed against a common opponent, Louisville.

Tell Luke go worry about his FSU team. There's no top program in the country playing a bunch of WR, especially a freshman. This is college not high school. The player needs time to learn the playbook and the system that's how you play fast on the field. Ray return punts that's building confidence and getting experienced touching the ball. The last I checked a lot of Miami great WR didn't play much as a freshman.
