I was stationed at Ft Drum for almost nine years. It was a great division to be a part of, and a very interesting place to be stationed. Thank you for posting this.

Im a direct descendant of Thomas Middleton (younger brother of Arthur and son of Henry). Tonight i had a random memory of watching a movie as a young child and my grandmother telling me that the scene i was watching was depicting my ancestors land. Long story short, ended up down the rabbit hole, found The Patriot (2000), and ended up here! Cheers! Thanks for the tour!

John Butler was not in the King's Royal Rangers, he worked for the Indian Department. He had been a colonel in the Tryon County militia and most of his men had also served there.

That picture in the beginning of the video in the barracks was not taken overseas. It was taken during the famous march to Atlanta.

Literally the first thing I bought a couple years ago 1942 dated Boyt Haversack with original matching meatcan pouch. Picked it up at a estate sale for $2.50.

i flew on the yankee lady in 2020 with my grandpa. it is something i will never forget. you can see how it was built, inside you could see the gaps in the aluminum panels where they were rivited together. and the whole plane shakes from the engines. i live near willow run, so i used to be able to see the b17 take off from my front porch. now, its been sold and i wont be able to do that again

My family and I polished the area around the nose art for years. We did it because it was difficult and we could easily point out our hard work. I considered it a honor and a rare privilege. Crying shame that it was sold.

Hello, I've been thinking getting one of the canteens and would like to ask you something about your canteen from WPG. One of the things I would like to know is if you had any trouble with the weld on it, and if you have any problems with the canteen leaking? What do you think about the M1917 mounted canteen cover, I’d like to get one to put on a belt and it does come with a belt loop on the back of it. I would appreciate hearing your opinion. Thank You!
