I did this today! Same make/model, you certainly take a bit of a bath in snow but if you can get the job done quickly and have fun doing so why not?!

Well a lot of what you said was not true as covered in above comments. I bought a new 2024 last yr and the dif lock helped me on two elk retrievals that just straight 4 wheel dr couldn’t cut it. But the big reason I chose Can Am was my friend owns motor sports store that sells both plus Honda and 80 percent of shop work is Polaris. Hopefully they have that fixed!! I do like some of their features though like back up camera

lol, which one did I go with…. Well you basically liked 95% of everything Polaris over the CanAm then ended it with you’re a Polaris fan boy. Useless video
@kevinisaacs69344 күн бұрын
This is one of the dumbest comparisons I’ve seen. You said the storage is better on the Polaris?? Lmao, hands down there’s more storage on the defender. You contradicted yourself saying there’s more storage on the Polaris yet called the removable tool box uselsss and overkill. Smh

I’ve got the same tractor and rear blade. You’ve probably figured all this out by now, but for anyone new to tractors and grader blades, here are some tips: 1st - ditch the hitch pin off the bottom of the big angle pin. The weight holds it down fine, and makes it easier to change angle of the blade with your heavy gloves on. 2nd - adjust your top link so that, with the blade down, the frame of the implement is level front to back. That way, when you angle your blade it will stay level left to right. If the frame is not level front to back, when you angle the blade, one side will be lower than the other. This especially important plowing snow on gravel drives, as it will dig up the gravel on one side. 3rd - flip the blade around on soft gravel so it doesn’t dig in. If you do a lot of gravel or grass, consider fitting a piece of 1 1/4” schedule 40 steel pipe over the edge. Lots of examples how to do that here on youtube. It still gets down to the ground, but won’t tear up the gravel when running it frontwards. The snow curls off the angled blade better with the blade going frontwards than backwards.

Ok lets be realistic here. There's no comparison between an 18K BTU heater and a 9K BTU. As far as the tilt goes, its useless. The heat still rises no matter the angle. The Big Buddy Pro has the same features as the Heat Hog without the tilt. And the reason for using a filter is because the oils in the hose will leach into the heater and foul it up inside causing problems. And lastly, I cant take anyone seriously when they give a review on something and doesnt know the name of it. Mr. Heater is the brand. The heaters are Big Buddy, Portable Buddy, Hunting Buddy, Little Buddy, and Gold cart buddy. I know it's tivial, but it's not a heater buddy.

My experience Ranger V Defender (or Can Am over Polaris) is that I’ve had 3- Polaris SxS previously, a 2012-RZR 1K, 2021-RZR 1K+ turbo, and a 2020 Polaris Ranger XP 1K NorthStar Ed. While owning Polaris, (yes, I thought Polaris was the best, but I think we all think what we have is the best, unless we can compare over hours/days). I’m adding the overall experience with the Can Am X3 as well, as it pertains to the story. I now own a 2023-CanAm X3 RC, and a 2024 Can Am Defender Limited HD10. Comparing newer model years to older was NOT what prompted the switch, it was actually having 1st RENTED a 2022 X3 on a family trip alongside our 2021 RZR-turbo (in 2023). Even the abused/rented X3 was better in almost every scenario. It took less than a week later to make the switch to the X3 personally. Later that same year (2023), I rented a 2023 Defender (HD10 w/NO cab) while owning the 2020 Ranger (fully loaded). Again, huge model year comparison, so to be sure, I also drove my buddies new 2023 Ranger XP NorthStar Edition for an entire day while At Hatfield McCoy trails a few weeks later. Again, hands down the Can Am was the clear choice in almost every category and I hadn’t driven one for a couple months at that point. I can’t recall what (if any) categories the Ranger excelled, I just don’t want to come off like there was nothing the Ranger had in comparison, because I’m sure there were. TBH, it was close in several categories, but the overall win was the Can Am, so I opted for the Limited HD10, as I was trading a Ranger NS and enjoyed the full cab while plowing etc. While it could’ve been “close” in a few categories, the difference was significant enough to spend over $30K after less than 2-years with the latest Ranger. Having the Defender now for over a year proved to be a great decision, as I initially had a little buyers remorse due to the sheer expense at the time but got over it pretty quick. As far as the X3, there’s nowhere the RZR compared other than maybe noise level, more storage, and some access to engine components. When it came to performance, quality, comfort, and features, (and appearance), the X3 was a simple choice. Having the RC edition was more about the “look” and although suspension travel was the biggest defense (from other X3 models), but for me it was the look of the RC, as the suspension may drop the 0-60 a bit comparatively speaking.

The only thing you're missing is the Paul Short mods. His stuff is the best. He and his wife Kathy are 2 of the nicest people I have ever dealt with and talk to. I have modded my "Mini Killer"(named after his 2 Kubotas, as in "KIOTI KILLER") with a lot of their stuff, which looks better than OEM. Anyway, give them a call and they'll fix you right up.

You should of stepped up and got the Hobie Outback. Now you have to go buy all these accessories like the boat loader, hatches and all the other stuff when you could have just got it all including kick up fins for $1,000 more. Not only that but the Outback is such a better kayak than the Compass

tilt feature. yes why would anyone want that. heat rises duh that is a joke and who sets them on ice? hahahah the electronic transmission is just a pain batteries get old fast and corrode so one more thing to go wrong the thermostat button does not work! why do you need a big grate are you going to run into a deer or moose? I dont care about that back grate looks like more trouble to me and you can not tell me heat hog does not need a filter so good luck fitting that on into that back cramped space. I will stick with tried and true

You don't need the filter if you use the 1lb tank. If you use the hose, Mr. Heater has a special hose that does not require a filter 273704 is the part number.

Great video. Refreshing analysis and interesting thoughts. Having a spare chain or two would mean finishing the job with two logs to go after hitting a nail without burning up anything but 10 minutes to change… Hard to believe the MS261 has been relegated to spare wheel status… would be an ordinary Joe’s pride and joy. Keep up the good work.

I plan to get a set of 5. We went from NH to mid Florida and an hr in a half from where we're staying in had a blowout. Thanks to my (Tireminer) sensor it was loosing air pressure from 65 to 40 in a matter of 30 seconds. Pulled over and my passenger side front axial tire had a chunk of rubber about 3" came off. I cannot stress enough to get some sensors for your tires. It could mean the difference in damage to your rv and rim. So safely in Florida I'm going to get rid of these China bombs and get get a set of good old USA Goodyear Indurance. I plan to head back home in mid April in NH. And it will be piece of mine to have good reliable GoodYear tire I can trust to go back home. And one more thing GET A TIREMINER SENSORS for your rv .They cam save your rv and maybe your life!
