What kind of gas engine today would ONLY rev up to 4500rpm? It could be easily mistaken for a diesel... Still, despite burning gas, the torque delivery feels more like diesel than anything else. Too bad can't say the same for fuel consumption.

@gregorsv You honestly think that BENTLEY would do a diesel car?! 'Course it isn't a diesel! The reason why it only revs to 4,500rpm is because there is so much torque low down in the rev range that there is no need for the engine to rev higher. If it was allowed to rev like a normal petrol (about 6,500-7,000rpm), the torque and power would chew the engine to pieces.

@PatchFSTDU This is no diesel, it's a 6.75L turbocharged V8 petrol engine.
