The skill ceiling goes incredibly high, it's a big reason I love this game so much that a lot of people don't realize exists with the game. There's even stuff that I'm still trying to figure out.

I took perks that synergize well together by all buffing the same thing (my summons) and summons weapons themselves being incredibly strong.

Thank you! Ultimately not much changes going into Endless with builds used in speedruns, since both speedrunning and endless mode want you to frontload the strongest perks first for the highest impact. So for summons engi you would take burn buddies, and then either scrap snacks or targeting protocol as your first two perks and go from there following the same build just like in the speedrun. You would just throw in dronezerker as your fifth perk.

@ I’d say 2 kangaroo sentries, as double kangaroo is still phenomenal mobbing provided you get loaded on them and they have far better bossing than minion boxes do.

Just reached Endless Stage 13 Guardian 4 difficulty with this build after a week of failing with Elementalist. Thanks for the build. Really wish they rework Elementalist's perks. Still feels like its the worst class in the game with pretty bad lvl economy. Pretty super reliant on getting Infused Weapon to even make his passive not dead since you don't start with an elemental weapon; not to mention too many perks synergize way too well with Dynamic Mantra that you are kinda forced to use 2 perks slots for Infused Weapon and Dynamic Mantra. And the Comet+Trinity based build needs like way too many perks to properly function, which is sad considering when I think of Elementalist I think of spammy element spells. Very fun to play and still my favorite class but definitely very underwhelming in power. Also Rock Solid is quite underrated for Endless Mode as it allow me to take most of elemental negative curse power-ups; but Unstable Armor is kinda weak imo.

Still, think that he should start with Infused weapon on his kit. You can then give him Engineers version of the perk so almost always 2 elements. Then if you have an element already on the weapon? Triple elements baby! (It would be fun. They should also rework the Pyro and Shock masteries. They are overshadowed by Cryo Mastery HEAVILY. They could have just added a better Blaze effect for the Pyro mstry which would make almost everyone happy... and then ther's shock. It's good for mobbing. I still think that they should add an effect where if there's only 1 enemy while shock is hitting It then they take a burst of damage while getting stunned for half a second or so i.e Nerf the amount of stun due and add Big burst damage. It would likely play into an overall trinity.) Burn = DOT, Cryo = Consistent burst damage with slowing, Shock = Massive Single burst damage with chain lightning.

The bug with certain upgrades not working has been patched, it actually got patched within 24h of me making this video lol. Props to the dev team for the fast fix.

There's a gadget called cooking gloves which lowers the cost of upgrading and rerolling weapons as long you have their card. Greys become free to upgrade, while greens and blues become free to reroll.

If you're confused why I seem to intentionally take damage at different points, I had the egg item which gives 100% autocrit after taking damage and affects summons, which boosted my damage output a ton while active. This is also why I took crit damage increases at diffferent points.

@@IDecaturX A sub 20 run is very very good, well above most players. Especially if you're taking a different route than I am, as this route cuts off around 5 minutes by skipping the second boss and most of Haven.

@@azzamsya Depends on which jump you’re talking about. I have triple jump from a crystal and jetpack from a gadget, which could be what you mean. If you mean the really high rocket jumps, that’s a movement tech. Check out JinxedMerphit’s movement guide, he explains it in detail better than I can in text.
