In the video clip, they spend most of the time fooling around: bassist Chris Ethridge and the drummer (I think it was former The Byrds, Michael Clarke) exchange instruments, and Parsons jokes with the camera and with his sunglasses. At the end, he even takes off his jacket and plays part of the final chords on the piano (he was a very competent pianist, which is how he briefly joined The Byrds just before forming the FBB). But her vocal performance is so heartfelt, so exciting, that not even her attempts at clowning in the video can tarnish it.

I'm 80 years old and I still love this stuff. After I came home from Vietnam,I would sit on the floor Saturday morning with my coffee and snack and watch Rocky and Bullwinkle. They kinda helped bring me back to the real world.😊

What a cool place to grow up in for a kid. Rather peaceful.
