It’s a nice little addition, I prefer to use a tree instead of a walking pole to get more height but that wasn’t really an option this time. It was such a pain to crawl in after a couple of drinks 😂

Love this tent I use drum gel for the top of the poles so they don't rip through, with a fast fold stainless steel stove in it , and one door open, it's just fine , condensation isn't a big issue for us and we slept 2 in it comfortably with a stove
@BaldBeardAndBadKneesАй бұрын
The condensation issue I had was purely user error, it was the wrong time of year and we had to have both doors fully closed. It was like it had rained inside 🤣 Thank you for watching

Hi mate, would you recommend this backpack for a 2 month long hike (2p tent, sleeping bag+mat + all the other usual camping stuff)? I heard it is the most sturdy decathlon has. Cheers!

I don’t see why it wouldn’t work but I’ve never used this bag for anywhere near that length of time. It is certainly well made but I would check it out before taking it on a trip like that.

I just bought this tent. Yes, it’s hot inside. Yes, it has no pockets. I wish Pomoly would have added a padded pocket on each end to accommodate those poles so they don’t wear through the fabric. My cot fits perfectly. I bought a Winnerwell Small Nomad stove since this tent is only 8.5’ x 6.5’ in size. Everything fits well inside. Currently doing a rain test in my backyard bc I want to know if and where this tent may leak. Got it for late Autumn camping here in Ohio, USA. I’m 4’11” tall and the tent is 4’9” tall, but it’s okay so far.

Let me know how the rain test goes please 🙂
@susanwright67852 ай бұрын
@@BaldBeardAndBadKnees In my backyard this week, I set my tent up for a rain test for a day and a half for a few light rain events. No leaks that I could see and I hand-checked the seams myself. I was fearful I’d find leaks at all the zippers, but with the outer doors zipped down over the mesh at either end and staked close to the ground, everything inside stayed dry…so far. After the tent dried, I gave it a good coat of Permethrin inside and out (then let it air-dry) before packing it away for my first outing over the next holiday weekend at the end of May. Looking forward to getting back into the woods for the next 6 months!

Ive been looking for a video of this bag everywhere, its the MT900 right? do you know what the max load is? is it comfortable when fully loaded? also is that lower padding (part that is right in front of the metal bars) loose/flexible to allow for hip movement? ( the TREK 900 model has it and I think it’ll be good for me). You mentioned about the new model, it also has wooden bars instead of aluminium which Decathlon claims to be lighter and stronger (visually cool at least). Thanks for the video, cheers from Brazil!
@BaldBeardAndBadKnees3 ай бұрын
The website shows a max load of 20kg. It is relatively comfortable when it’s full but I never weigh it so I’m not 100% sure how much weight mine has taken. The padding is all fixed in place but doesn’t restrict any movement. I’ve been down and looked at the new model, the wood does look really cool and seems strong enough. Thank you for watching

I have had one for a while now, and love that it can be put up in just under a minute. That doesn't include setting out the guy lines though. On that note, I haven't had to use the guy lines yet, so wasn't aware about the lack of two pegs. That is a good heads up saying that, so thanks.

I rarely use the guy lines either to be honest. I also love how quickly it can be pitched. Thank you for watching

Good review! I had this tent and had the same problems with pegs and seam leaks but thought for the price it's a cracking tent
@BaldBeardAndBadKnees3 ай бұрын
I agree, for the price it’s a good tent. If the forecast shows rain I generally take a tarp for a little extra coverage anyway so the leaks shouldn’t be too much of an issue Thank you for watching
