Cracked exactly one Psygnosis Amiga game cuz a friend challenged me to it, took about 20 minutes but I had TONS of practice owning a yankee Amiga 1000 and obsessed with euro-demos. You see, NTSC Amiga 500's could switch to PAL mode no problem, but NTSC Amiga 1000s were locked to NTSC, and most euro demo used a busywait loop for the scanline to hit the very bottom of the screen, a scanline number that never even occurs on NTSC so basically 99% of eurodemos just freeze on American A1000s. So having to do that every single time I want to run a euro demos, and most eurodemos use depackers so can't patch the binaries or disk image. Fun times though!

@@perfaratormec the pt-1210 software has pitch adjust and nudge functions. It's essentially the same as you would with a pair of turntables or cdjs

I am glad to have found your channel mate! I always loved watchig demo scene stuff and I used to make music with fasttracker 2. Haveen been at a few demo parties too, I miss that. Sadly I never owned an amiga.

Very interesting. Maybe you can also create a histogram with which sample-blocks are used when and keep them in chipmem for a while when they're expected to be reused. Won't bring much benefit for the vocals but probably for the more general samples.
