Good video, just a few items to keep in mind. As per Manual "Tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern until each nut has been tightened twice. The correct tightness of each lug nut is 100 ft/lbs (135 N·m). If in doubt about the correct tightness, have them checked with a torque wrench by your authorized dealer or service station" Steel rims may be more forgiving. But if you have aluminum rims I would not use an impact.

This is unbelievably helpful. Both of mine broke this last winter on my 2014 dodge avenger. I knew it was a relatively cheap fix, but I’ve been procrastinating doing it because I thought it would be harder than that. Having the video showing how to do it in detail is a life saver!

I had to replace the aerator pump on the livewell too. The housing was cracked. The best way I found was to remove the batteries so you have enough room to remove the hose off the aerator on the backside. Then you can just undo the nut and pull the pump out with the hose still attached. This way you can easily install the fittings and clamps when you put in the new one. Just reverse the process to put it back in.

I have a recirculating pump not working at the moment also , same year tracker but 190tx , what are the odds I’ll have a convenient hole square hole cutout in the back of the boat as well ? That something tracker does ? Just incase I need to go that far with this project?
@northmsoutdoors3 ай бұрын
Yes, it is an access hole put in by Tracker. I would expect you do have a hole for access.

So what tools did you use for the thermostat on that big 3.6l V8. 🤔🤔🤔??? How did you bleed the system of air???
@northmsoutdoors4 ай бұрын
A socket wrench. I opened the radiator cap to relieve the pressure. You will also have to take your coolant hose off and will loose some coolant. Be sure your car engine is cool before doing this.

Ok I didn’t understand where your leak was coming from until I went to the beginning of the video and seen that the crack was in the plastic housing and the actual pump cartridge did not fail the exterior of the pump which is red is what cracked. Now I see why you had to replace the whole system. That is a chore, my friend because tracker don’t make no room for you to replace any of your pumps.
@alananderson29615 ай бұрын
I replaced my live well and bilge pump with A Johnson Replacement cartridge at the same time. The bilge pump had a 1000 gallon per hour pump and the Livewell pump had a 750 gallon per hour pump. It took about 30 minutes to replace both cartridges. It was a piece of cake. I had a Luma craft 2015 competitor sport 185. And Aluma craft installs Johnson pumps to make your life easier. I would not replace any pump in my boat unless it was a Johnson. It is so easy to replace.
@alananderson29615 ай бұрын
Why did you replace the whole pump assembly. You can just replace the pump cartridge by pulling up the black small tab on the side of the pump and turn the top counterclockwise and lift it out. Then just install the cartridge by lifting up the tab again and turn it clockwise. Then use the same wires to slice into the pump wires. It takes 15 minutes. It’s a Johnson Pump. The brown wire is positive and the black is negative. Look up Johnson Pumps. You can install a 500 gph, 750 gph and a 1000 gph pump with the cartridges. You save money and time.
