God it's so crazy to finally see how scuffed the ensemble here is. So in the game, unfinished character data for Devdan actually exists, but it is very incomplete so his class is simply a level 1 citizen. If you look near Edward and Leo, theres a generic peasant inexplicably there. That is because they used the incomplete Devdan data accidentally instead of Danved. They also used the wrong version of Aimee's character data, so you can see a random peasant woman next to Muston and the twins. Geoffrey is also there when he's supposed to be with Bastian and Volke at this point

In Easy or Normal, the Black Knight stands the whole time, he acts only if you get in his range. Here in Hard Mode moves and it's freaking terrifying...

I Beat this dude at lvl17 on hard mode MC had an eligor (resists Phys) with tarunda, sukunda and bufu, kept alternating between those every turn, Chie using bufu every turn, yousuke buffing everyone but the MC with sukukaja and yukiko on healing and item duty

I just finished this version of the game tonight. I got spoiled YEARS ago and yet it STILL hit for me…just the tone of it. Aigis being so human and talking about how much Makoto helped her find her purpose, everyone coming to the roof after getting their memory just to see Makoto was already gone…it hurts. If they got their memories back sooner, they may have been able to see him as he passed. But the game said it so many times and even blatantly foreshadowed it with saving “He just so happened to find his purpose before of all you.” It makes in context and with this ending being so in-tune with the game’s makes me love it, even if it’s super depressing. That and well…The Answer and Elizabeth’s P4AU (sort of) but not definitively) implies that he may not TRULY gone, at least not in spirit.

What the Vanaheimr are these results? Do they not have any endings? Or are they for Radiant Dawn?

This ending is really existential. I played p5 and p4 before i played this and I always felt bittersweet when the game ended knowing my time with those characters was over. In this one the protagonist's time is over with yours, the game ends right as he dies. You dont get to see the aftermath or how his friends reacted, you're just gone with him.

Theres people eho understand this a lot better then me, but the impact this had on me was understanding. In this scene, i undersatnd why death is not somethign to be feared or fought against. Makoto Yukis life was short, and its unfortunate he cannot spend more time with his friends and live his dreams, but those things are just natural. You can't do everything, thays why its important to enjoy the things you have done, and are doing. Makoto died, surrounded by friends, after sacrificing himself to save the world. Its a perfect end. I woukdnt ask for anything more. Nor would fighting against it do anything.

I know there are people gushing about the P3Reload version of this fight now, but in many ways, this one feels better and more mysterious to me. Because Elizabeth is equally as mysterious and that really shines through in her dialogue, motivations, and intent in her fight.
