First of all, I wish I could have a conversation with you. You're a fascinating, good hearted person. And lovely beyond words. I had an experience with anxiety and panic attacks that were a totally new experience to me. My doctor prescribed two very powerful "psych" drugs and for almost a year, I had problems functioning because of the drug. For some reason, it occurred to me that the drugs weren't "curing" the anxiety. They were a means to dull the anxiety but the root cause of the anxiety wasn't being addressed. So the causes of the anxiety and a way to get past it was never offered to me. Long story short, I decided to stop the meds and try to determine the cause of the anxiety. After the drugs wore off, I never felt better! I started meditating and my anxiety pretty much was gone. I write this with the hope that someone reading this, who takes meds for anxiety, seeks counseling instead of a lifetime taking drugs.

I used to have severe anxiety. I was bullied in elementary school, and then had a relationship with a covert narcissist that broke me completely. Now I've convinced myself that I don't want any new relationships, that I'm fine not caring if other people don't like me or criticize me, etc. I no longer suffer from depression like I used to, but it feels more like apathy as a defense mechanism than it feels like I'm actually healthier.
@mymindblooms9338 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing! Sorry you've been through that!! That sounds like a defensive mechanism, where you've closed down to feel safe, which makes perfectly sense. I can relate to that. This work can clear that, so there's not a desperate NEED to have relationships, but it naturally happens AND it feels safe and fun to be open, it requires for those limiting beliefs (from traumas) to get cleared. ❤️

My social anxiety is due to abuse. I honestly don't really care anymore what most people think about me. I am far more focused on what I think. I refuse to be like the people who treated me poorly. There is no desire to give back what I got inside of me. I am mostly a hermit other than some very special people, including my wonderful wife. I'm quite happy that way. I don't think being really social is for everyone. As an expert, you would know more than I would. Just my thoughts. Great video! 👍 Thanks!

I can relate with this. I believe that when you are conditioned by fear and anxiety, it becomes more difficult to recognize the triggers that invoke those feelings. Learning to recognize what triggers the response is very important for breaking free from fears and anxiety. Conditioning can also happen in the reverse as well, for example, fear of heights or fear of death can be overcome by sky diving. All it takes is some conditioning. Thank you for sharing.-Robert
@mymindblooms9338 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing, Robert! Great point. I found that chock therapy or new conditioning of something that was already conditioned to produce fear like people getting angry me, was very difficult as the anxiety was very overwhelming, and I could not make it work. I ended up reconfirming my fear, as it was too charged. But it prob depends on what's conditioning and the trauma behind. Lovely comment, thanks! ❤

While I really liked your reactions, you're losing a subscriber. Mind-reprogramming is demonstrably pseudo-scientific hokum with literally no peer reviewed legitimate studies supporting its ideology with actual evidence. What's more, coupled with some other wellness coaching practices, it has the very real potential to damage those suffering with genuine mental illness. Put the years of work in to actually study psychology or psychiatry and you could genuinely help people who desperately need it.

I got inspired by your way of reacting to music. Right now I can't even describe what it does to me listening to this content and the effort you put into that. The first words that come to my mind are actually "Thank You". I am dealing with heavy depressed periods by myself, at the same time I am a huge overthinker. Not a healthy combination at all, especially when your personality already "changed" to losing interests and staying home all the time. It's a weird feeling to know the reasons (or at least to think you do know) and feeling like not being able to tackle them. These things need consistency, an environment that understands and moments of happiness for motivation. Once again, thanks for these words.

Depression (major depressive disorder) is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act. Fortunately, it is also treatable. Depression causes feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed. It can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems and can decrease your ability to function at work and at home. Let’s make no mistake, it’s a serious condition that can, in certain circumstances, lead to thoughts of suicide. As you rightly say, medication acts as a suppressor of the symptoms..but does not solve the problem. Your presentation describes a condition that effects around 5% of the world population. I have said before that your past presentations promote hope for what to some seems like a hopeless condition. I’m not saying the solution is simple. But with an understanding of the condition and the need to identify the root cause, the road to enlightenment begins. The reprogramming of the mind to eradicate the negativity and so promote a more balanced perspective about yourself and life in general. A change in lifestyle and talking therapies would strike me as a good start. We live in times of greater awareness and appreciation of mental conditions. Once again Sabina, a video that describes how there are possible solutions despite a sufferers thoughts to the contrary. 👏👏 Respect.

Thanks a lot for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!! ❤️ As you say, it’s something a ton of people suffers from, and my experience that it’s not complicated or need to take years to solve, if you go right to the source of the pain and you know exactly how to release the trauma, PTSD etc for good. But I know it’s the opposite of what many of us have been told. So glad we find more and more ways to get back to mental and emotional balance!! What a gift

Introversion and extraversion are about different sets of energy flows within the body, and how the brain processes information. Introverted people get their energy from being by themselves. Extraverted people get it by being around other people. Of course, we all have a certain amount of both. But there is usually one particular mode of being that is more dominant. The personality itself is part of the ego makeup, so I would agree that it is not part of the personality. However, I feel like calling it a symptom is slightly inaccurate. To me this implies that you believe there is something wrong with introvertedness and there is something external that is causing it, and that eradicating this external influence will "fix" the person. It's incredibly important for you as a practicioner to not allow people to think there is something wrong with them, because this generates more trauma and negative belief systems. For those like me who are very comfortable in their own company, this could come across as really judgmental. I have spent the majority of my life in seclusion. I wholeheartedly embrace my introverted nature, because it's an essential part of who I came here to be. However, I understand that none of us are programmed to be by ourselves all of the time. Introversion can be taken to an extreme, when people begin engaging in isolationism. But it doesn't mean that there is anything wrong with anyone if they like or choose to be on their own. Learning to be okay with being with yourself is an essential part of everyone's spiritual growth, and is something that will sooner or later have to be mastered. If you are uncomfortable with being with yourself, you cannot be at your best to serve others. We all operate differently. But no one way is better or worse than another. I respect your point of view, Sabina. And I honor your right to make your own free will choices. But this is an area where we are probably going to have to agree to disagree. However, I still greatly value your friendship.
@mymindblooms93382 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I say initially in the video that I don't see anything wrong "being" introverted or extroverted. This work is about nothing being inherently wrong, while showing that we are not the experiences and tendencies we have, and so if they causes us suffering at any point, they can be let go of. This video was specifically about being introverted, the same goes for being extroverted. A symptom of something is not inherently negative in my understanding. This is simply a way to look at the human experience, and looking at our experience-patterns as something that does not ultimately define us, which to me is ultimate freedom. We don't need to change anything, nothing is wrong with anything, and for those suffering, that can be let go of.

I do not know if I have depression but all my life I feel a darkness in me, I prefer to be on my own most times, I do not hate people but wish the worst on the ones I do not like, Since about 10 years old I am fascinated of death and do not fear it nor do I ask for it. I look at many people and wish they would just die in a horrific way, like watching the war stuff and seeing the jews does not make me sad, I am not against them just do not care about them, nothing I hate more and angers me more than some religious bible thumper trying to convince me to get baptized and find god, I tell them if I find god I will kill him lol, am I normal or just dark emotional person.
@mymindblooms93382 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for sharing! To me it sounds like you are normal, and then the thoughts and emotions you have is something that you have prob subconsciously learned from early childhood, maybe parents, the environment you grew up in, the content you consumed, and so that's the environment you're programmed to fit into now. Like with all programming this can be shifted, as you were not born with specific thoughts or feelings, it's just something that's put on top of who you really are.
@stormcrow3942 жыл бұрын
@@mymindblooms9338 Thank you for responding, I appreciate it. Yes we are a product of our environment, drunken violent father, mother that spent more time in a psychiatric institution than outside, even tried to murder us. I tried drugs, alcohol, meditation but nothing helps, I took up hunting, well pest culling and that s the only thing that brings peace, watching things die, not suffering, not tortured just quick and humane. It is the only time i feel peace but the darkness is endless, you know somethings cannot be fixed or repaired. So you think this is a programmed condition? I laugh because you can smash a vase and glue it back together but it will not be fixed, cracks, flaws, pieces missing.
@mymindblooms93382 жыл бұрын
@@stormcrow394 I've been there. And I also tried everything for 9 years and nothing worked. What the case was for me and most of the people I've worked with that comes from highly dysfunctional childhoods is, that some of the programs we get is believing things like: I'm broken, I'm doomed, I'm fucked up, I can't change, I'll never be happy. So I feel you. I used to feel like I was too messed up to ever be well again, but it's all illusion. Made up in our mind. And we will perceive it that way until the mind - including the subconscious mind , have expereince the proof that it is not true. And btw, sorry that you have been through that ride, it's painful and brings along so much shitty programming that it carried through life. Good news is: No matter what you have been through, it no longer needs to affect you, once the traumas and programs are cleared ❤ Hope that made sense.

Anxiety is something everyone experiences at times, and feeling anxious is a perfectly natural reaction to some situations. But sometimes feelings of anxiety can be constant, overwhelming and out of proportion to the situation. This can effect your daily life, and can be potentially destructive to both yourself and those around you. As you have eloquently stated, identifying the cause or catalyst is the first step in seeking a solution. In my younger days, I developed a stammer, which resulted in much ridicule. As I got older, the stammer started to subside but was still an anxiety that tended to propagate in anxious situations. To cut a long story short, my job in later life meant having to give presentations to my peers. At one time, that would have filled me with dread. However, it quickly became something that I looked forward to. Preparations for the ‘event’ became something I enjoyed. I’ve never figured what changed. Maybe I realised that the source of the fear was my own self generated anxiety. Maybe I will never find out. Putting the message out though that there are workable solutions to these life blockers is very important, and can change you for the better. Once again, nicely done Sabina. X

Anxiety is an energy born from fear. But what we as humans often forget is that there is nothing to fear, because it is an illusion. Fear is an energy born in the mind and it feeds till there is nothing left. The more energy you give to it, the stronger it gets. The anxiety is often worse than what you are afraid of. If you find yourself in that state, just take a few deep breaths and center yourself. Anxiety in the body that sits for too long can make you physically ill. Finding a way to release it is paramount to your physical, emotional, spiritual and mental health.

If you believe you're going to lose, then you will. This creates what is known as a self-fulfilling prophecy. When you give power to an idea about yourself (Ie, that you are not worthy of good things - which is the cause for the belief that everyone you love will leave you), you are creating that outcome for yourself.
