It would take a lot of effort but it is possible. I built this city by all by myself, so having friends to help build can speed the process up quite a bit. I would encourage you to try anyway, even if you don't finish it can still be a lot of fun!

I vary the widths of the lanes of my streets. I have some that are 4 or 5 blocks wide which is what I have most of them but for highways I will do 7 blocks wide usually. And my sidewalks I usually have way wider. I will sometimes have like 2 or 3 block wide in the suburbs but like 5-12 in urban areas, especially if I have outdoor dining and trees.

@@Ibn_Alkarak I elevated the main city area using world edit so that it is about 12 blocks high. This gave me enough space to add things like basements and a subway.

Building tip: When you build skyscrapers you should slowly transition to apartaments then flats and then residence, which includes houses, schools, hospitals etc. The economy of the districts should also be taken into account to like you don't want to build expensive skyscrapers to less developed ones. Consider also like the rest of the economy such as the nation's economy. Try to break up the grid of your city, as it needs to be organic and if we take a look at Brooklyn in New York it looks exactly like this. Your streets needs to have curbs. Consider also adding a industrial district with factories such as oil rafineries, power plants etc.

Home I I can see you are loosing motivation so I suggest you do somthing different in Minecraft like I am trying to build a hunger games map but lost motivation due to the copy and paste limits on console so I’m starting somthing new for more motivation and then coming back to my old map once in a while. I love your videos though so please keep posting.

A good tip is to have fun, don’t worry if there isn’t perfection or it doesn’t meet the standards of other cities. It is your project, that represents your character and ideals. You can always go back and change later on

Mob spawning is disabled by default, you can turn it back on by typing /gamerule doMobSpawing true in chat

This is amazing, good work. After about ten minutes i started feeling like i was being watched because how liminal some of the buildings feel, but that just kinda made the experience better in my opinion lol. Good work on this
