one day if this is true, amtrak and metro north will go into mass or at least canaan. be a very long ride but worthy for people wanting to see the berkshires ECT..

The Metra UP-West commuter line near Chicago has several stations with signs that light up with "DANGER ANOTHER TRAIN COMING" at the crossing when 2 or more trains arrive at the station around the same time. The LIRR should install those at Little Neck since it seems to have 2 trains arrive at the station at the same time quite often.

Australian here, it sounds a bit like a hybrid of the N-class horn (Nathan P5 I believe) & the RVB 3 horns (used on P class, & formerly Coming trains).
